Good Monday Morning.......

Well I just got home from work and I thought I ould seeif anyone started the thread....
Lets give Joyce Stewart a shout out.....It is her birthday today and also Jan H in Michigan.....
So happy Birthday to both of you!!!!!
I am off this Monday and Tuesday. I have to go to the ENT on Tuesday for a thyroid check.....

I am just in a great mood.  Hope it lasts all day. 

Enjoyed watching Big Brother last night.  Caught up on all of my TV shows I had DVR'd this weekend.

Back to work this morning after a wonderful time at the OH Conference in Cincinnati.  I had the pleasure of meeting our own, Terri Black.  She's wonderful and I really enjoyed talking with her.  The fashion show was really nice ending with a marriage proposal of two that met at an OH Conference.  How cool is that?  I also won one of the door prizes.....$50 gift card.  George....Yvonne was such a joy to be around.  Wish I had her energy.

This afternoon I go to the Gastro specialist to see what he can do about my abdominal pain.  I really think it's the hernia and he won't be able to do much.  The pain is not constant, but it's increasing each time I have it.  Time will tell, I guess.

Headed to Kentucky next Saturday for the Kentucky State Fair.  It's a great state fair and really looking forward to it.

IF you think it is a hernia, go to your surgeon. They don't get better, only worse. That can happen REALLY fast too and is dangerous.

Good morning Carla.  Happy Birthday Jan and Joyce.  I've been up since 3am puttering around.  Made Val some homemade biscuits and sausage gravy for his breakfast.  I'm looking forward to having some alone time today.  The boys will be at school and the hubby at work.  We are babysitting my daughters dogs for a few days so that puts us to 9 dogs.  It's crazy around here.  No plans for today.  Have to do the colon prep tomorrow for the colonoscopy on Wednesday then another doctor appt. on Friday for an independent psych eval.  I have applied for soc. sec. disability.  I can't believe how fast this is going.  I just know I am done.  Something finally broke and I can't deal with anything any more.  I am so drugged up right now to keep the panic attacks and depression under control I can't hardly think straight.  I'm having some better days though so maybe something is working.  Ya'll have a good day.

sybul..my thoughts-and only my thoughts- would be that you are getting close to some closure on a big part of your life and you are regaining the control of your life to make you healthy- the alone time should do wonders for you- i know that i need some...take the drugs while you need them and you will get thru all of this! 

seeing better days already does show that this whole process will work for you and you'll come out a greater sybul even than before!!!!!!
here's a hug....

You will get through this... it feels so scary I know, but just keep up with the meds and therapy and you will get back to health.
