HERE I GO AGAIN

ITS BEEN OVER A YEAR SINCE I LOST MY HUBAND,ITS 1:00AM  HERE IN ROME GA. AND IM UP LATE AGAIN.IM STILL GOING THROUGH THINGS THAT I HAVE NEVER GONE THROUGH BY MY SELF BEFORE.I JUST GOT DONE WITH THE 3 SUGERY ON MY LEFT KNEE.WITH NEW PEOPLE JOINING.ITS HARD TO TELL YOU WHAT I HAVE BEEN THROUGH,ALL THE PEOPLE WHO HAS BEEN AROUND SINCE DAY ONE KNOWS.YES THE LAST DR THAT DONE THE OTHER  2 SURGERY DID NOT DO HIS JOB.THE DR THAT DONE THE LAST ONE BACK IN JUNE.FOUND THE WRONG PART IN THERE THAT CAUSE ALL MY PAIN AND THE KNOT ON TOP OF THE KNEE WAS SCAR TISSUE.THAT IS WHY MY KNEE WOULD NOT BENT.NO I DID NOT DO ANYTHING TO THIS DR.IM JUST NOT THAT TYPE OF PERSON CARRY ANYONE TO COURT.I KNOW DRS DO LOTS OF SURGERY AND CAN MAKE MISTAKES.BUT THIS TIME MY INS.WANT HAVE TO PAID.DUE TO THIS DR MAKE IT GOOD TOLD ME TO DONT WORRY ABOUT THE MONEY.I STILL HAVE A LONG WAY TO GO STILL DOING PT.BUT I THANKS GOD FOR LETTING ME TO HAVE ANOTHER SURGERY.I DROVE MYSELF TO THE HOSPITAL AND DROVE MYSELF HOME.EVERYONE WAS ON VACATION.MY SON DIDNT CARE IF I HAD A WAY THERE OR BACK,HOME.IM A BIG GIRL AND TAKE CARE OF MY SELF.TOMORROW I HAVE A NEW FAMILY DR VISIT.THE OTHER FAMILY DR DIDNT TAKE CARE OF ME OR MY FAMILY.ALL HE WANTED WAS MONEY.I STILL HAVE OTHER PROBLEMS LIKE REGAINING WEIGHT,THE LAST WEIGHT DR TIME WAS UP FOR ME.AND HIS HELP.AND BOY DID THAT COST.SO IM REGAING SLOWLY.BUT THIS DR TOMORROW SAID SHE WOULD GET ME BACK ON TRACK.AND HELP ME WITH ALL THE OTHERS THAT GOING ON WITH ME.KAREN KAREN.IM GOING TO FLY AND GO ON A CURSINE TO MEXCIO WITH THE CHURCH MEMBERS THERE IS 16 OF US GOING IN OCT 28.IM HAVE ALWAYS BEEN AFRAID TO FLY AND BOAT.BUT READING ABOUT SOME OF YOU FLYING I MADE LIKE IT AND WANT TO DO IT ALL THE TIME.KAREN I LET MY ANTIQUES GO DOWN FOR AWHILE.BUT IM GETTING BACK INTO IT SLOWLY.I GOT TO LET THE DOGS OUT.WELCOME TO ALL THE NEW PEOPLE.AND THE ONES WHOS BEEN HERE SINCE DAY ONE HELLO.AND EVERYONE HAVE A BLESS TOMORROW.PLEASE KEEP ME IN YOUR PRAYERS.

marylyn....i am soooooooooooo glad to see you post.
i really hate to see the struggles that you still go thru..yet; i am soooooooooooo proud of you cuz you just keep on trying! your faith in your God is strong and you have people in your corner even from far away!

yes; you are a bad girl-driving yourself etc--but you did it and you will be better for it!!!!

the cruise sounds like fun- i have never been on one-yet-- so i want to hear all about yours!!!

please stick around and post when you can-yes; many new folk and they are great additions to our OFF family.....

It is SO good to see you this morning. You've had to deal with so much this past year, but it really sounds like you are doing it! Sometimes that is all that we can do; just put one foot forward and take it a day at a time. Time is the only thing that helps the pain of losing a loved one. You're learning to take care of yourself and finding out that you CAN do it. I'm so glad that you have the support of your faith and church family. Sounds like your new doctor may be a "keeper". I hope so.

By October that new knee should be working well. Hope you enjoy the cruise. I went to Mexico about that same time of year and the weather was wonderful.

You are not alone in dealing with regain. Please don't be a stranger. Quite a few new people and still a bunch of us "oldie but goodies" here on the Over Fifty Forum.  We care, Marylyn so please share with us.  You are on the right track. I know it has been a hard one for you, but you are a strong woman! I can tell from reading your post that you have come far this past year!

Marylyn....so wonderful to see your post!!!

Sounds like you have had a lot going on but are getting through it. 3 knee surgeries WOW!!

As for weight gain...we are all struggling with this....keep  going up and down. Seems the longer we are out past surgery the easier it is too gain!!

Glad to hear you are going on a cruise...just what you need for YOU!!!!  I am sure you will have a wonderful time!!

Great to read your post and hear all you've been experiencing, sounds like in spite of it your spirit of determination is prevailing and you are moving forward. . .  we all get stuck from time to time, off track, weight gain are a part of this journey, or so it seems, but the good thing is the tool always works if we chose to do right by it. . .
