Good morning all!!!!! What a WONDERFUL DAY!!!!

Nolan Ryan and Chuck Greenberg own the Rangers.  I was up until 2 AM following a blog from the courtroom.  Unbelieveable that at midnight there were still 4000 people on the blog waiting for the final results.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

I hadn't heard this ... well, I'm glad. I didn't want Mark Cuban to get it. He's a jerk. I think Nolan Ryan will do a good job with that club.

Hi Everyone, just wanted to check in. Our county fair is going on  this week. It has been pretty crazy. My granddaughter entered a puppy competition and didn't do too bad. She has a yorkie/maltese puppy. Her name is Bella. We live down the street from the fairgrounds and it makes it hard to get through to the house.  Have a great week.  Mona

Hi Margo and all my OFF friends,
Sybul, please go easy on yourself.
There are parts of my job I am not liking these days.  Our CA office that was acquired two years ago is just not getting with the program.  They are stuck in their old ways and are not complying with our procedures for doing things.  So I have to format an email to them to make them tow the line.  Distance makes it too easy for them to ignore me.  But come ISO accreditation time, it's going to bite us in the butt.
I've been taking my vitamins, calcium, vitamin D3 and getting my monthly B-12 shots but I'm tired.  I get in about 80g protein a day. Blood work came back good, no anemia, etc.  Vit. D a little low but I've been compensating.  I think it might be a symptom of depression.
I'm overwhelmed by all I need to do at home so I don't do anything. Argh.
But other than that, life is peachy. LOL.
Bev

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Hi Margo, OFFrs'

Yes, the weather man is promising less humidity over the weekend, but when I was out walking Roxie this morning at 6:30 it was already 80 degrees and the humidity was building.

I hope Sybul feels better and I am having work related issues too, think I am in the panic mode myself on many days, but somehow or another I will survive and things will work out for the better, they usually do, just hang in there Sybul. . .

Nothing much else happening, looking forward to this evening and seeing my friend Owen and my AA homegroup meeting.

Everyone have as good a day as possible, I wish you peace and strength to make it through whatever life brings to your doorstep. . .

Hugs, Laureen

P.S.  Margo, Roxie is going to have a new friend next door, my neighbors are on their way down to North Carolina to pick up a 10 month old Great Dane that they got through rescue. . .  we will introduce the dogs to one another shortly after they get back.

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . .  It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . .  Laureen

Hi Margo and my OFF family:

Kind of a hazy day but already 93 degrees and headed up to over 100 degrees again. I went for a massage yesterday and oh my, she worked me over, but I feel so much better. She was quite skilled. I talked to two people over the phone before I picked her ... the other person, when I asked if she was familiar with fibromyalgia, she hesitated ... I figured she didn't know what I was talking about. This woman, Elizabeth, right away knew what I was talking about ... she said she wouldn't do deep tissue massage. OK, she was going to take it easy with me. I went in there limping, my hip bothering me because of my sciatic nerve being pinched. She noticed that right away and was able to release it ... hurt a little but I feel so much better now. She also helped my right shoulder. She was from Michigan, too, so we had a lot to talk about. And she recommended someone to cut my hair. ... and boy do I need it!

Work was busy last night, but that's good ... I had three pages to do, and the last two I really had to hustle to get done. But the good news was, we got all the pages in 20 minutes before deadline ... woohoo! I felt good about that. Bonnie, who was in charge of the Opelousas production last night, kept asking if I needed help, and I said, no, I was OK ... then I really had to slap that last page together. But I got it done in time. Kinda like the 50-meter dash but with my arms and shoulders. ...  Hurt a little in the end but felt exhilarating too.

Not much going on today ... back to work, I'm supposed to do A1 for Opelousas and the jump page, so I figure to be busy again, but that's a good thing. I'll watch the White Sox game today before going to work. They're still hanging on to first place, so I'm happy.

Well, have a good day. Stay cool.
