It's Hump Day - where is everyone this morning!
Having my first cup of coffee with s/f carmel vanilla creamer....
Busy day yesterday, and did manage to get out and vote in Michigan's Primary.
My DIL was diagnosed on Monday with MS.....it was heartbreaking, but after talking to a friend who has had MS for 50 yrs and researching it on the web, it's not a death sentence, for sure. She is researching two possible drugs that they are recommending. The drug would keep the symptons at bay, and help to prevent further "flare ups". she has a wonderful attitude and is very strong, so I know she will do well.
Better get back to work now....

Good morning Pat and everyone....
Pat... I too have a friend with MS....she has had it since her early twenties....she is now 59 and doing great...lives alone, drives a car, works part-time, and is involved in everything!! Your DIL will be fine. Attitude has so much to do with it that's for sure!
Karen C.....you are so brave....I would be scared to go camp in a tent by myself....I would have to rent a cabin with locks on the door for sure!! Glad you enjoyed yourself.
I got a hold of Judy G. yesterday. She said she isn't coming back to OFF. She doesn't think anyone cares. I hope she changes her mind.
As for me....work as usual....then a little shopping to do. I had a great time at the County fair last night. I got to talk too some people I haven't seen in a while.
Wishing you all a happy and peaceful day!!
Prayers continue for those in need.
Love and hugs for all......connie d

connie- i had noticed that judy was MIA --i am sorry that she feels taht way- did something happen( you know i haven't been on as much as usual this summer) or does no one ever mention her??? many of us have btdt in the past---and it can feel defeating when ppl don't acknowledge us----sorry she's going thru the blahs..........
I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Good mornin', ya'll.
Note to self - do NOT make anymore full length fleece quillows until I have my new shoulder. That stuff is heavy, and it is not easy flipping it around, getting it cut, pinned and sewed with one functioning shoulder!
The usual today. Gym for treadmill and water aerobics. Home to shower and then probably crochet the rest of the day. I lead such an exciting life!!
Our oldest son returns from deployment next week. We are all so anxious.
Everyone have a fantabulous day!!
Goood morning Pat and everyone who follows!
My intestines are giving me a fit this morning but ... oh well. The benefit I've gotten from my surgery far outweighs any little inconvenience I have to put up with!
It's been very busy this week. So far every day there's been at least two doctor appointments to go to between DH, younger daughter and me. This morning DH has to see the spine doctor and then DD has to go for physical therapy on her knee.
Yesterday DD knew I was feeling blue and so she made me this adorable little stuffed cat! It really brightened my day!
We got an auto dividend the other day and I'm really happy because now I'm going to go to Michael's and get a little counted cross stitch project to work on. I probably should use that check for bills but you know what? Sometimes you just have to say, what the eff. (Anyone remember Risky Business?)
Have a wonderful Wednesday everyone!

Cassie:
I have tons of counted cross stitch pattern books and magazines....if you are ever looking for something in particular - let me know -- I'll be more than happy to share.
Annette:
Thanks for the info on your sister -- I talked with a lady friend last nite who was diagnosed at age 16 and is now 66 yrs old. She does fine and gave me a lot of encouraging information...she has never taken any medication for hers and only once has had an episode of the optic neuritis that they gave her steroids for.
Thanks everyone for the kind thoughts -- it sure helps.
