Hi everyone!  It's a lovely day to sleep in but I have too many things to do so I had to haul myself up out of bed to try and get going.  We have to leave soon to pick up our Angel Food delivery.  We got a box for my MIL too so we'll be stopping there today to drop it off.  I opened all the windows in the house, yay!  We are having a tiny break from the horrible heat and humidity and I wanted to let a little fresh air in while the cooler temps last!  There's not much else going on today as Little T is away on vacation with his dad and we won't get a chance to see him this weekend.  Hope everyone has a super Saturday!

Good morning Cassie and everyone....

Where the heck is everyone?? Judy and quite a few others are MIA again!!

I went out with friends last night....first time in 3 weeks because I had my granddaughter here. I was so tired I was home in bed by 10:00 PM....unbelievable....they all thought it was funny. I guess everything just caught up with me and WHAM......I had to go to bed!!

I have two events to attend today/night and hope I can stay awake this time!!

Yup....it is confirmed....Gracie (granddaughter) will definitely be coming to see me again. She insists on coming to "Camp Nana". I will get her on the 11th through the 15th....I am sure it will be a fun time!! My other granddaughter Amanda (Kyleigh's sister) will be here to help keep Gracie entertained!!

I need to go tanning so off I go...have a wonderful weekend everyone!!!

Good morning.

Since my PCP recommended more weight bearing exercises for the continued bone loss, I went for a wellness evaluation at the gym.

It was completed by answering a ton of questions, a long consult with the 'Exercise Physiologist', taking vitals, then plugging the information into a computer. A lengthy process.

It came as no surpise that I need to reduce the stress in my life. Big DUH there.

But hot damn - I am too fat. Yuppers, I need to reduce body fat. I have spent hours with a psychiatrist & therapist to stop thinking I am too fat. I worked with the dietitian to get my weight from 113 lbs up to 120 lbs, - 125lbs. And now I should aim for 110 lbs?

I am so depressed about this. Tom is absolutely furious.

Tuesday I go in with a trainer and begin a personalized exercise routine - they recommend doing this 6 days a week.

The daily rowing and swimming has been useless except for cardio work out. I'll do it all. Swim, row and exercise.

Well, I personally think it's a load of steaming crap!!!!!!!!! Weight training can improve metabolism and help with the bone loss, but IMHO you don't need to SHOULD NOT get bak to 110.

Just build more muscles
....that is insane that you have too much fat....good grief....are they crazy!!!

I agree with all....Annette you are not too fat...and I told you so this morning.

 We are different physically from normal people...what seems like fat on us is actually skin !!!  And I think 110 pounds would make you look gaunt and sickly.  I'm talking to John about it on Tuesday...

  Don't know if anyone here knows..but I am down to 146 pounds.  I however, am bloated in the upper abdomin just below the breasts...I look like one of those poor children in the news that suffers from malnutrition.  Thats what the bloating looks like..any ideas why I bloat there????  I'm seeing my surgeon on Thursday ( may have another hernia), but for the life of me can't figure out this tummy thing.

  Well off to clean something in this house of mine..doing laundry etc.  Hope all is well and that everyone has a good week end.
 Wish I could go to the pool with Annette today...went yesterday..it was so nice and relaxing and we still exercised for an hour and then got to soak in the hot tub.  I came home warm, relaxed and tired.  A nice combination if you ask me.

You could be retaining fluid there.  Are you on any diuretics?  It's a frequent place for some people to accumulate fluid instead of their lower extremities.  Some people (like Me) accumulate it in both places.

Abs and buns of steel - and especially stronger bones - that's the goal.

Since I threw my scale away there is no temptation to fuss over the numbers.
