I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Good Morning!

As usual for me on a Monday and quite possibly the entire week I'm up late, should be on the road right now but I still have to pack my breakfast and lunch for work.

Today is my normal work week schedule.  Work till 4, go to the gym, then home to hang out with Gene until I fall asleep.  I enjoy Monday's Gene does not see clients on Monday's so it is the one weekday that I actually get to see and spend time with him

Hope everyone has a great Monday!

Just finished a WONDERFUL weekend!  Spent Thursday through Sunday nights at the Ballpark.  What could be better?  The Rangers won three of four, but I honestly expected them to lose the Saturday game.  And they did.  A big 7 game lead over the Angels now.

Thursday, my son and I went to the game and had a great time.

Yesterday, my grandson got to come home from Math and Science Camp.  He is not quite 13 years old, and is spending two weeks living on campus at a local university.  Summertime and he voluntarily is going to school 8 hours a day for two weeks.  His head is in the right place.  The progam he is in is very select.  There are only 40 kids in the program and they come from about a 50 mile radius from the university.  Only one other kid from Eddie's city is in the program.

Not much else going on.  Later.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

Morning Margo and the gang!

It's my Sunday so I don't ever have bad Mondays....lol. Tomorrow is a different story, though!

We went to see Inception yesterday. I'm still trying to figure out the whole thing, but enjoyed the company and time out. I splurged on popcorn with butter( it turned out to be my lunch), which wasn't the best choice, but what the hell.

My back is doing really well so I think I'll cancel this week's PT and see how it goes. It's too time consuming and I'm not thrilled with the treatment I get when I'm there, so I won't waste the insurance company's money. I've had enough PT in my life to know what's good and what isn't, and I'm sure this guy is only doing the minimum in order to maximize the money he gets from State Farm. So, what's the point?

Okay, it's time for the next Girlfriend's Question....let's see what it will be!

Good morning, ya'll.

Monday. I have an appointment with one of my oncologists. It's a regular 3 month check. It seems like just last week that I had one with the Dr. in Greenville. I guess I should be happy I am able to go see Dr.'s at all.

My daughter has introduced me to a Words with Friends game on our iPads. Very addicting. It's just like Scrabble and she and I can play from NC and OR.

Everyone have a fantabulous day.

Good Monday morning, Margo, and everyone on OFF!

We had a lovely intense thunderstorm yesterday afternoon that stopped the heat wave temporarily.  The humdity is way down and it's just supposed to be in the high 80s today.  I'm actually going to venture out to Walmart today and pick up some things I need.  I'm almost finished with my counted cross stitch project and decided I enjoyed it enough so that I'd like to do another one.  I also figured I'd pick up a few school supplies since there's a sale for that going on right now.

If the weather stays nice, I think I'll even sit out in the backyard and get some fresh air!

Have a good one everyone!

Had a quiet weekend.  Did a lot of thinking about my present situation.  I've decided that if I were released tomorrow I would not go back to my old work place.  So, I went through the paper and there wasn't much there.  I plan to update my resume and start sending out some copies.  I'm also considering temping through an agency for a while.  I like to work in a hospital from time to time to keep up with new technologies and hone my skills.  Ya'll have a good day.

Went to a movie Saturday with Kyleigh and my friend Pam. We saw "SALT"...it was very intense and very good!!!  Lots of action!

Today of course is work again. Those 3 day weekends go too fast!!

I have been going through household items and trying to find a few things for Kyleigh to use in her apartment. She is starting from scratch!!

I best get back to work. Prayers as always to so many in need.

Morning Margo, Friends,

I had a very busy weekend, but that is nothing new, even with everything I do, I don't seem to be able to fit it all in, but at least I have the ability and energy to get things done, which still amazes me, as I can all too vividly remember how my life used to be, especially on those very hot, humid days, like we had this past weekend, those were the days when I hid in my house and everything I did took great effort, now I need more time to accomplish all that I can do, I am so thrilled that my life is this way . . .  Thankfully, the humidity is much more endurable and the temps too, Roxie may even get to play at the park this week. . .

Well I am at work and things here are not too bad at the moment, obviously, or you would not be hearing from me.  As I've mentioned, my job situation has not been ideal and today I have a meeting at 3 pm with my two attorneys to discuss how to fix the issues that we seem to be having, please send your positive thoughts my way, so that I can be level and not emotional and keep an open mind, I may not "love" this job, but it beats unemployment.

Life is really good, I choose to focus on the positives and how to create an environment for more of the good things life offers.

Wishing anyone facing challenges, the peace and strength to get through it.

Hugs, Laureen

Good morning Margo and all my OFF friends,
I decided I need a sister's night out.  I'm calling my sisters tonight and find out when we can get together this week at a coffee shop.  It's just time for girl talk and catching up.  There are four of us when we get together.  We miss our sister who passed away, otherwise it would be five of us.  I have two brothers too but all the girls came first so we are close.
August 8th we are taking our 88 year old Aunt out for her birthday dinner.

Can you believe it?  When our grandsons were here I took 175 pictures and two videos of them. LOL.
We got a break in the weather but I don't think it will last long.  Besides, I'm calling 88 a break in the weather because it's not in the 90s and 100s.  It's all in your prospective.  It isn't so humid though.
Hugs and warm wishes to all,
Bev
