Karen,

Your success is inspiring to all of us. Each time you post, your warm heart shines through.

WLS has been a miracle, but that miracle has taken plenty of dedication and HARD work.

Be well dear friend. You are a delight.

Kisses

Aloha dear Annette......It's 4:00 p.m. Maui time and we JUST got our cable back. All day I have had no phone, computer, or TV. The news said that an undersea cable had broken and all of Maui and The Big Island were affected. Sure found out how much I rely on phone, computer, and TV!!

Thank you for your kind words, and you are right...it is HARD WORK to get down and STAY down! You are a great example, for sure.

With much aloha,

Maui Karen

Hi Maui Sistah!

Congratulations on your 4 year surgiversary and all the positive things you've shared over the course of the 3 years I have been on this board. . .

Sorry to hear to read about your friend's tragic ending, I guess his love and compassion for her made him feel it was the only thing he could do.  Prayers to you and those most deeply affected by the loss.

It is never too much to read when you write, it is almost always a picture painted in my mind of the beauty that surrounds you and your spirit is equally as beautiful.  I truly believe if we lived in closer proximity, we would share some good times, perhaps one day, we will at least get to meet. . .

Hugs and many good wishes for love and happiness, Laureen

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . .  It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . .  Laureen

Aloha my friend......Your words warm my heart. I, too, think we would be great friends if we lived close to each other. Your shares always touch me and make me glad to be an OFFer and to share this wonderful new life with you, and so many others.

My friend's death has to mean something. I hope he and his wife are in a place of peace and serenity. Life can sometimes be really rough.

With so much aloha,

Maui Karen
