Here's an idea

I've been trying to think of a way to get us more involved again here on OH. This is so sad that it's so very, very slow around here.

For those of you who have been here a long time, do you remember when I used to post questions from "The Girlfriend's Box of Questions"?  It was when I was home after my ankle injury. There are really cute, funny, thought provoking and sweet questions that are really meant just for girls (well, we are, aren't we?)

So, I ordered a box set from amazon since I tossed the other one. I might even take it to the shop to get conversations started there instead of talking about the same old things.

I am not a "gal", but I just wanted to make a comment.  It appears it is all the boards on OH are slowing down. 

I keep saying it is because of the advancement of Facebook on the internet.  Everyone is on FB.

I thought of you when I posted this, wondering where you'd been. I've said FB is to blame for a long time. FB is all well and good, but can you get the WLS support there that we have here? I don't think so!

There are several reasons for me not posting on this site, and OH in general. 

I still post my daily thread on the TMB, but due to the amount of reading I have been doing, I spend less time on OH.

I do look at OFF daily.  It is not too often that the daily thread is started before I am getting ready to leave for home.  I would start the thread, but I notice that most people that start it, out of courtesy, comment on the posts made by people.  It is not possible for me to do this until very late in the day.  It could be 12 hours after the original comment.  I don't think that is fair to the people posting.  And I don't comment on the previous daily thread because by the time I get on the site, the day is almost over.  So it is a catch 22 there.

  Start it anyway, George.  The response comments are not necessary, and we love to hear from you!
