Moving to Maine

Hi Everyone,
I thought I would ask is anyone in Maine, I will be leaving Arizona the 13th and moving to the Bangor area. After a year and a half my sweet husband got a job offer.

Yea though I am leaving behind my wonderful daughter and many friends. Maine here I come.

Best of luck in your new location, and bring lots of warm clothes.  Or, having lived in Arizona, you may need to buy them once you get to Maine.  Maine gets COLD.

Congrats on the job offer ... I know how it is leaving a familiar place, having just done it recently and moved from Michigan to Louisiana for a new job (although I was only unemployed for five months, fortunately). It's a new adventure, though ... I have moved cross-country several times and settled into well to a new town, new life, made new friends. It'll be fine.

Welcome to Maine!

I live in southern Maine, about 3 hours from Bangor.  We became full time residents of Maine after we retired.  I can't  tell you much about Bangor, I have only been there once.   Maine has beautiful beaches, lakes, rivers and mountains. 

Currently, we are having a record breaking hot and humid week.  

I sometimes read the message boards, but I really do not participate. You may want to go to the Maine board.  I think there are some people there that are closer to Bangor.

If you have any questions, I will try to answer for you.
