Good golly, it's morning!

Hope all of the crew had a great nights sleep and you're up and ready to go!  Today's my Thursday, and I always work on Saturday, so no 3 day weekend for me. That's okay,

Today's recipe is for a sweet potato pie, no sugar added, low fat and NO crust! I've never had sweet potato pie, but it's a big deal here in the South. They tell me it's like pumpkin pie, which I don't like, but I do like sweet potatoes, so we'll see. Anyway, I thought will lots of July 4th events going on, it might be nice for us to have a dessert that we can actually EAT!

Yesterday:

crustless calzone, mini bagel
taco bell pintos/cheese, soft steak taco w/o tortilla
salsbury steak, wasabi mashed potatoes, fresh green beans
LF granola

Up 2 lbs from yesterday, must be water weight 'cause I sure haven't over done anything that I can think of!

Have a great day!

Hi Susan...
I checked into your granola...still has too many carbs for me.

I will probably be eating the same today..except I'm going to make either some egg salad or chicken salad ...maybe  even a potato salad.
 I'm thinking chicken speidies too.

 Have a great 4th weekend...enjoy.

Hi, Here is my recipe that is good and easy:

Key Lime Pie

2 containers sugar free fat free lime yogurt

1 8 oz. container ff coolwhip, thawed

1 pkg. sf lime jello

1/2 c. boiling water

low fat graham cracker crust, optional

Dissolve jello in boiling water. Add yogurt until well mixed. Fold in cool whip. Place in pie plate with or without crust. Place in refrigerator for at least 4-6 hours to set.

This recipe can be used with different flavors of jello and yogurt. I use yoplait yogurt.

Enjoy!   Mona                Happy 4th of July!

Susan...BOUJA is made with different kinds of meat, usually pork, chicken maybe a little beef....it has many kinds of vegetables in it...it is slowly cooked for at least a day. It is very thick....no large pieces of anything.....tastes wonderful...can eat it with a fork if it is made right....YUMMY!! The flavor is amazing!!

Many people make it and churches etc...at the end of the veggie season when there are so many good veggies to eat up. Some make it sooner like my friend who uses frozen veggies from last years harvest.

Hugs sweetie....connie d

Susan,
The recipes are nice but honestly - I don't feel like cooking anything. It's a pain in the a$$, then clean up, nope, don't want to.

What a grump I am today. (yesterday too) Tom's gout is getting ME down too. Tuesday he sees a different doctor.

B - cottage cheese, berries, Kashi
L - spinach salad with chicken
D - meat sauce & cottage cheese, green beans
S - apple & pb
