Here we go---sailing this boat together!

Good morning one and all!

So? How's your boat sailing these days? Mine is moving along at a steady pace, seemingly staying the course, but you never know what challenges each day might bring, do you?

Yesterday was very busy, so I only had one snack and didn't eat dinner until 8:00. Of course, by the time I got home and warmed up my food, I was pretty hungry and ate too fast. Only able to eat about 1/2 of my stir fry w/ brown rice as it just didn't sit well. Oh well. We'll see what happens today.

Yesterday:

crustless calzone
applesauce w/ cottage cheese
leftover greek chicken, tomato/cucumber salad, a bit of hummus and a couple of baked pita chips
some, not much, stirred fried beef and veggies w/ brown rice

1/3 c LF granola

had 3 lattes, one protein coffee and 72 oz water

Hi Susan and fellow crew mates...here's what's on my plate today...

B: flat wrap with melted cheddar cheese
S: cherries
L: some type of soup in the hospital cafe made with chicken, rice, corn, peas and lima beans
S: smoked pickled polish sausage
S: apple
D: don't know yet
S: SF Klondike ice cream square

Hi Susan and everyone to come!

I have been doing pretty good.  Lost 3lbs of the five I gained. So that is good news.

Yesterday
Coffee

B- half of veggie omlet.  ( took the kids out for  breakfast)
S-
L- rest of the omlet
S- string cheese
D-Cottage cheese, small salad
S- Apple- peanut butter.

All my vitamins and fluids!!!!!!!!! Yea... I am getting better about my fluids.  Found a water bottle at the dollar store and it holds 64 ounces!  I love it

 Sticking to NUT's plan..but, very busy today..so I've had ups and downs with the sugar levels..lots of shaking.

  protein shake w/1/2/banana
  graham cracker with peanut butter'
  crackers with cheese
  protein bar
  cracker with peanut butter
  protein bar
  more crackers...shaking really badly
  better try tonight to get in an egg or two if I can...
  maybe another protein shake...
  I was on the run all day...thats probably why the levels are going up and down...tired now..thats all

Maybe a watch (or even your phone) with a timer/alarm? Something to remind you it's time to eat. I know this must be challenging, but you can do it!

I lost a paddle yesterday, and have been fishing around for it today.  I think I may have found it again..... 

I just made the Salisbury Steak recipe you posted from RecipeZaar.  Very yummy, and moist....

Glad you liked it!  I made it too, but used all ground sirloin, and made 4 patties out of it. I think I may have cooked them too long before putting them in the sauce because they were a little bit dry. The flavor of the sauce was great. Added some sliced mushrooms too.

Where was that paddle, anyway?  There might be some more missing ones there
