Ugh.. I hate Monday's. What does yours look like?
I am tired, went to bed early. Why so sleepy? I need my coffee.
Today it looks cloudy and already had a rain. Yesterday was hot hot hot...92. It rained in the evening.
Going to lunch with cousins today. Hopefully we will go somewhere I can order something. If not, it will be a salad...
Have another busy week coming up so far. It will go fast.
Nothing else new here, except same old maid jobs
Peace
I am on my way. What a ride it has been.

Sorry to vent about that.....
Got started on the girl baby bib -- we had three rain storms during the day yesterday.and my herb garden is growing like crazy. I picked some lemon thyme and parsley to bring in the house....yummy in salads.
Need to get my breakfast now -- did 30 minutes and 4 miles on the recumbent bike this morning. My goal is ten miles a day.....I know lack of exercise is a big problem with me not losing this regain.
Have a great day,

Done! Your Ticker:
I'm with Pat, I love my job and look forward to Mondays. My problem was working too hard this weekend on SD and SIL's house! LOL It's getting there and the plan is to start moving in Wednesday. I'm crossing my fingers.
Gotta run, have some priority stuff this morning. Hospital is getting ready for Joint Commission.
Good for you Pat riding the bike, exercise is hard for some of us and embraced by others. I do love exercise...it's just getting to it...once I'm at the gym I'm a happy girl!
The days of the week are almost the same to me except that on weekends there are no doctor appointments. I understand the hating Mondays, though. I used to as well.
Not much going today. I know I need to go out to mail some baby things to younger stepdaughter and I need to pick up a few things from the store. I'm not looking forward to it though because it's supposed to be very hot and humid again.
On the bright side, though, we're supposed to get a break tomorrow and especially starting the middle of the week!

Good Morning,
It's a beautiful late June morning here in Chehalis, WA. The sun is just rising, there is a bit of low misty fog close to the ground. Looks like a beautiful day in the making.Even if it were raining kitties and puppies it would be a beautiful day today as we will be meeting Baby Briley Elizabeth in a few hours. I think they've finally settled on Elizabeth. Lots of Elizabeths in all sides of the family. Who doesn't have an Elizabeth if you have Scotch, Irish or English background. We even have a "Lisette" in my husband's German side. Imagine that's another form of Elizabeth.
Erin (and Briley) and Josh left for the hospital a bit ago. They are so ready. Erin feels great compared to two years ago. Seven weeks earlier in the pregnancy with the twins she was taking a lot of extra strength Tylenol for pain, couldn't go to the bathroom when she would try, felt like she had to all the time. This time her blood pressure has remained good, very little swelling, finished her last day of work on Friday. She just has 3 weeks off full time because for an accountant July and August are the worst times to try to take maternity leave. The good is that after 3 weeks she'll work from home 4 days a week, go into Seattle on Wednesday for 5 weeks, then. . . she'll work 3 days a wee****il January. In September Briley will join her sisters at daycare on Wednesdays.
Erin will try to keep her home with her the other 2 days until January. Hoping that nursing works out for her this time. With the twins so little and so early they didn't have much chance of success. I have a feeling that this little girl will be strong, hungry, and Mamma's milk supply will be abundant.
Enough gushing. . Can you tell I'm excited! Will post later today hopefully with a picture on Facebook. That is if Josh can post for me. Wait til I get it posted successfully and if you want to see it I'll "friend" you. I don't do much with Facebook. It just seems so public to me. More so than OH and OFF for some reason. Hope you all have wonderful day. Keeps us all in your most positive thoughts.

Well, I guess I can control the weather! I got outside early yesterday morning and watered the back flowerbeds for almost 2 hours. So we got a lovely soaking rain last night. First time it's done more than sprinkle for a few weeks, and it's been hot and humid. I knew all I had to do was to committ to watering really heavy and I could make it rain....
Last night went to the movies with a girlfriend. Saw the new Tom Cruise movie "Knight and Day". It was a real shoot 'em up, lots of action, and I enjoyed it, but not a lot of substance to it. Entertaining, not thought provoking by any means. Just how I like my movies. And men....
Dinner last night at Red Robin. I like their steak sliders, and have one left for lunch today. Don't like steak fries, and they give you unlimited of those, so that worked out well.
Today is errands... Banking, drop off at Salvation Army, stop in to say hi at the knitting/crocheting group I'm planning on joining, and driving 'way out into the country to pick up my little Mantis Roto-Tiller after having it repaired. Now it's too wet to till, but there's always tomorrow.
That's my exciting life. I'd much rather be waiting for a little one to enter my world. Karen, let us know as soon as you see her... Congratulations on your wonderful family!

I love Mondays! They're my Sunday and I have the house to myself and a day to do what I want to do. Of course, it usually involves cleaning, errands and cooking. That's okay, I enjoy all of it. Well, maybe not the cleaning so much, and the errands can be rough as hot as it is.....
Speaking of cooking, tomorrow we're throwing a Bon Voyage party/50th b'day party for our salon owner. Since she's going to Greece, that will be the theme. Of course, no one knows a thing about Greek food or even could begin to even find dishes to make, so I'm doing the cooking and they'll chip in for the cost of the groceries.
The menu:
hummus and home made baked pita chips
tabulleh
tomatoe and cucumber salad
lemon and garlic chicken kabobs with taziki sauce
Won't be long before I'm in the kitchen and going to it. I love to cook, so this will be fun!
Hope everyone has a wonderful day!
Susan
For the past five months, Mondays didn't mean that much to me ... it was just another day. I had nowhere to go, other than a few appointments and maybe a lunch date with friends. One day was much like any other.
So I'm looking forward to this Monday, although I don't actually start working til tomorrow, Tuesday ... the start of my new life. And it is also my surgiversary, the start of my new life six years ago. I hadn't realized that at first ... I knew it was coming up but didn't realize the date was the same as my first day at my new job. What a coincidence!
I finally got the kitchen totally unpacked ... although I still have to find places for some things. This kitchen cabinet's are smaller than my old kitchen, the pantry is smaller. I have crammed things in there. I also unpacked one box in the bedroom, but still have two more to unpack.
Today, I have to contact the HR person at the newspaper for paperwork, do laundry, find a credit union ... it will be a busy day. Tomorrow is the first day of my new life ... just as it was six years ago.
