What's New Sunday Edition
Aloha my friend.....I am so excited for you! You will have three little girls and I have three little boys. Wish we could have mixed them up a bit. Hey, maybe my 3 will hitch up with your 3.......age difference is right...Ha!
My good fortune to meet/green so many new babies each week, and I especially love screening the little girls......so sweet and precious. I had a little boy born last week with a broken shoulder!! He was over 10 lbs. and getting him out broke his shoulder (or collarbone, can't remember which). I was especially careful with him and he didn't seem to be in pain. Hard to imagine caring for a brand new baby with a broken shoulder.......ouch!
Good luck with everything in the next few days. Breathe deeply, let out stress with each breath. This is a joyous time......and I can feel the LOVE in every word you write.

This is "later". I got everything watered, and am now trying not to inhale my breakfast. Hungry!
The rest of the morning I'll read the paper, and sit on the deck and enjoy the flowers. All except the phlox that the deer ate. I think they got all the early pink ones. Fortunately, there are ever so many more, different colors and blooming times, and the deer should be full before they decimate all of them.... I hope.
This afternoon I'm going to see the new Tom Cruise movie "Knight and Day" with my neighbor. It's a shoot-'em-up with humor, which I enjoy a lot more than "chick flicks". I passed on "Sex and the City 2". I never watched it on TV or saw the first movie. I KNOW I like Tom Cruise. No brainer.
Dinner out tonight. Between that and the popcorn smells at the movie, my will power will be tested.
I'll prevail!!! I am WOMAN!!!!!!

I woke up early, started the coffee, went back to bed and cuddled with Nicki 
. Tom and I were talking when Annie 
jumped on the bed.
She often picks a fight with the cat being cuddled so Tom said "watch her". I thought she was getting a drink of water.
Nope - the little
PEED on me !!!!!! Tom almost fell out of bed laughing. She has "christened" him a few times and I thought it was funny. Not so humerous today.
She's not sick, no UTI, just marking her territory. If she keeps this up, her territory is going to be the laundry room.

Hi Cindy and my OFF family:
What are my plans ... the same as yesterday: unpacking and pitching. I make at least two trips to the dumpster a day. I have broken-down boxes all over the apartment. I will have to make a couple trips out with boxes ... they're not heavy, they're just awkward to carry. I wish I had taken one of my two shopping carts with me ... but I couldn't have gotten it in my car, and I just didn't think to ask the movers to take it with them. I could use it now, to take groceries from the car to the apartment. Sometime when I get more organize, I'll take photos. It's a cute apartment .. there's a white fence around the patio for privacy (haven't gotten out there yet ... don't know how often I'll sit out there with how hot it is). The laundry room is off the patio, too ... no money for a washer/dryer yet, so I'll use the community laundry room for now.
I nearly have the kitchen unpacked and some of the living room. Today, I have to get into the bedroom and unpack clothes so I have something other than t-shirts and capris to wear on Tuesday.
And then there's the White Sox-Cubs game to watch ... Sox have won 11 in a row ... so exciting! Finally they're playing well.
My friend Mary Kay woke me up this morning at 9 with a phone call ... actually, Scooter tried several times to wake me up but I slept in til 9. It's good to talk to her ... I don't what I would have done without her this past year. She has been my rock ... she has helped me so much since Margie died a year ago. We have become much closer friends, and I so appreciate her friendship.
Well, I've babbled on long enough. Have a good Sunday ... stay cool if you can ... it's going to be 92 degrees here.

I haven't got anything to report as the only plans I have for today is to stay indoors as much as possible. It's supposed to be very hot and humid here again. We're supposed to get a break from this kind of weather around the middle of the week. I'm looking forward to it!

it's a few minutes after 12 Pm but i stll have to say good morning!!!!!
we had a really strange sleep nite here last nite- m fell out of bed; i got up at 130 am thinking it was 5 or 6 - well- anyhow- thunder and rain all nite long- plants needed it--specially the wheel barrow full that i bought yesterday! hmmmm.well today they will get into the ground and baskets...that will have to be the end of my summer planting unless i find something special in someone's garden! my roses are blooming and i bought a beautiful veronica (speedwell) yesterday- ok-
my car looking escapade basically taught me that i will have to settle for a clunker for now if i can find one! that cash for clunkers thing took away most of them! but it helped to see what perspective and earnings i need to be in to afford something newer...all in all it was a good day....
we have done absolutey NOTHING today since we got up except pills and coffee so i need to look for some protein before i head out to play with the flowers! am watching A Painted House on Hallmark- love the movie.....
this week two more doc appts...i'm really tired of this-with no definitive answers or plans of attack for improvement..... and STILL no workers comp check--since march 3rd--how many weeks X $348 ????? sure would be nice!sorry for whining....
oh- talked to my dad yesterday- spirits are good -will still have colostomy done thursday - cancer has spread to the lymphs now tho--prayers appreciated....
