Good  morning, my favorite bunch of friends!!

It's almost and 'is' 6 a.m. here.. and I just woke up... startled.. and almost fell off the couch.... wonder what happened at the end of that movie?  Must have been terribly boring as I slept through it.  Isn't that always the way?  Pay for Showtime and it puts you to sleep!!

Yesterday was filled...with errands, grazing through the best grocery stores in town, trip to Williams Sonoma and Crate and Barrel, picked up my shoes at the cobblers, and home to just see if I could spend the evening alone without food.  Nope.  TRIED to drink water.. ended up with two flour tortillas w/splenda, cinnamon and butter.  Anybody got an Xpress Ready Set Go?  I love mine.. sure is quick and easy.

Today is.. hmmmm... work on the living room some more...(that means fold the clothes that are piled on the chair).... More laundry.. hang up the clothes that I can't wear.. that would be most all of them..

Of course, Starbucks is in the picture and some good conversation and read the Sunday paper.  Have decided to put my toe back in the water a little.... so wading in with a possible meeting new friend tonight there... scared to death.. haven't done this in almost 4 years. AND, not sure I'll do it again.

I think 'we' (that would be ALL of us) are having Baby Briley this week... 'we've' all been anticipating our new arrival so I'm sure KarenC will post the minute she can.... C'mon, Karen!!!

Will be 100 degrees or nearly today, so will get out early and (gasp) water my yard before the ban starts this morning.. now if I can just remember what the times are.

I'm rattling and prattling.. way too much..

Everyone have a fun-filled blessed day.  If you need a hug.. you gottem. Take as many as you like. They are free.

Morning Cindy and Janet!

I'm up and ready to go to church....eating my yummy carbmaster yogurt for a quick breakfast.   Will have a cuppa when I get back home.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who falls asleep during movies.....

Yes, we "aunties" and a couple "uncles" are waiting for Baby Briley to "git out of mommie's tummy"!!!   Two employees brought their babies into work Friday == oh I could take them both home (temporarily of course)  they smell so sweet and are so huggable and precious.

Looks like a day of hot and humid with threats of storms off and on.
What's new -- we've had the worst stormy early summer in years.

Have a blessed day,
Pat R.

Look for Carb Balance Tortillas at the grocery store. You want the "fajita" size. They have extra fiber that drops the carb count, and taste great. Fewer calories, too.

The second one didn't taste any different than the first, so only make one next time.

Good for you for jumping back in the pool .... I gave up on that.

Yeah, I have problems with the munchies at night too, especially since I've been unemployed and sitting at home all day. Lately, not so bad since I've been busy packing/unpacking/pitching.

Morning, Janet, and thanks for the hug!  Ya know, it's good to hear that it's not me tha****ches TV and falls asleep while watching.  Sometimes I'm really interested in it too, lol.  I think to myself that I need to get up and go to bed but I keep saying oh, I can hang in there...

Hi Cindy, Janet, and those to come.

Sounds like it is going to be a hot one everywhere today.  I believe we are suppose to go up to 92 or more.  That is pretty hot, but I better get used to it.  Going to Florida on the 5th.

Just doing a little of everything the last few days.  As usual, keeping busy.  I have been snacking too much lately and I think it is a slight depression on my part.  Not good, though I am aware I am doing it, I have to stop it before it gets out of hand.  My back still hurts which has limited my excercise routine so I am in a catch 22, so to speak.

My husband is working today.  I will probably putter around the yard this morning BEFORE it gets too hot.  I think my son and his girlfriend are coming over for dinner.  It will be nice to see him.

Well, prayers to all...  Keep hydrated today!

Peace

Mary

I am on my way.  What a ride it has been.

I'm headed out back to water.  THAT should make it rain.  They've been threatening rain for a week, but the sprinkles that have occurred haven't helped my thirsty darlings!

Back later.

Good morning!

It's going to be a long day as I started mine about 3am. . . Played on the computer, took the dog out, now I'm wide awake and the sun is up. The twins went to bed at 7:30pm. They will be rested and raring to go!

Tomorrow is our big day. We'll drop the girls off at daycare and then head to Olympia about a 45 minute drive away. Briley will be there by the time we arrive. We'll wait until Tuesday to take the twins to meet Briley. I found some "big sister" t shirts on sale a few months ago. We'll give them to them at the hospital to wear. As you all know we are all so excited to see what she looks like.

Erin had that nasty wreck in early March. We were so afraid of an early delivery. Looks like Briley will be a good sized girl and full term. Hopefully that will make the whole new baby experience easier than the first few months with the twins. Of course they could get a "difficult" colicky baby. Sure hope not. Erin hopes to nurse this one. With the twins she pumped a lot of milk, but with  an early birth and having two she never had enough to nurse them and they never got the hang of it.

I'm anxious too. Anesthesia and surgeries involving my loved ones leave me that way. I hate not being in control and this is certainly one of those cases. I'll stay busy and hope that all goes well. You all have a good day.
