TGIF--what's new?

Morning, All

I've spent the last two days inside, purging file cabinets.  Considering that my usual method of filing consists of a brown paper grocery bag labeled with each year, lined up in the file drawers, with every receipt and "thing" I think I "might" need "someday", I really think I'm accomplishing something.  Five bags of shredding and recycling and "junk" have been purged, and I even found some cancelled checks from a bank I stopped using 25 years ago that I was able to shred and part with.  The bank no longer exists, so I figured I was safe to get rid of them....

Today is nice out, will mow, do some weeding, and wait for the deck guys to come seal the deck.  They pressure washed 4 days ago, but it's been raining almost every night, just enough to make it too wet to seal.  Hopefully  they'll be back before it needs to be washed again.

Then more paperwork sorting.  I'm actually sort of enjoying it, like I do with cleaning drawers and closets.  I think I may have blown the shredder, though.  It's just a small cheap home version, and it's sounding pretty tired.

Time to get moving.  Everyone have a great day!

Morning Cassie,

Congrats on your daughter's graduation, hope you enjoy the festivities surrounding it!

Sounds like most everyone is doing well. . .

Me, I am just so happy that Friday is here and looking forward to spending some time at my friend Diane's pool this weekend, my only real plans involve driving up to Lansdale to do a couple of laps with a friend of mine from my support group, who is doing the relay for life tomorrow, I was going to bring Roxie, but with the temps and humidity returning tomorrow, I decided just I will go and then when I come back head to my friend Diane's house where I will lie on a float in her pool and just enjoy. . .

Well back to the work at hand, just wanted to pop in and say hey to you all, maybe I'll see you on the weekend. . .  Debbie have a great time RVing, Margo good shopping to you, Grammylew, I feel you pain with the heat, it's not much cooler up this way, my b/f is actually in Florida for the weekend at his nieces wedding. . .  Eileen, enjoy unpacking and getting yourself acclaimated to your new environment, it will probably take you a year or so to do so, your body will need to adjust to the change in climate.

Everyone else I wish you peace and strength for whatever life is bringing to you!

Hugs, Laureen

Good morning Cassie and everyone....

Like I said last evening I was so exhausted from the long day I had yesterday that I slept last night from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM ...something I rarely do unless I am sick or something. I was so tired I felt sick.

Nothing but going tanning on my agenda today. More resting and relaxing...reading a book and watching TV.
Boring I know but sometimes boring is good.

Have a great day everyone. Many prayers going up today.

Love and hugs to all.....connie d

Hi Everyone..

I have been super busy and have not time to read or respond to the board.  I hope all is well wih everyone.

Suppose to leave for Florida on the 5th for two weeks, home for one week and off to Alabama.

Carla, It would be nice to see you.  I will have to plan something.  I will be with my in-laws using their van so it may be a bit difficult.  I will try though.

Well, I made chili this monring and my husband hates spicy or hot things so I usually make it on the mild side.  Somehow, I used a can of spicey chili beans and he is going to hate it.  Oh well.. He can eat waffles or a sandwich.  He claims everything is too spicy.  I really am begining to hate cooking for him.

Got a mexican dip ready for tonight we play cards.  It is so good and healthy.  Just have to pass up the tortillas.  lol

Well, everyone have a nice day.

Peace

Mary

I am on my way.  What a ride it has been.
