Rowing, sailing, and just paddling along. What's on your plate?

Hello crewmates!

Yesterday was very nice, but not a really great eating day. We went to see Toy Story 3, and of course I ate too much popcorn. Then, at dinner, we ordered hummus and the plate came with all sorts of yummy olives. I'm as swollen as a tick today.....agh!  Lots and lots of water in my immediate future, for sure!

Here's what I had yesterday. Confession is good for the soul, right?

chili verde w/ egg and some un-fried-refries
chicken salad w/ apple, cranberries, walnuts on sourdough (1/2)
popcorn, and lots of it
1./2 burger with some sweet potato fries, hummus, garlic bread, olives, glass of white wine
watermelon

skinny vanilla lattes, 4 16 oz bottles water

Fearless?  Nah.....not me!

Before WLS I used to open a can of black olives for a snack. Now I can't tolerate the taste. That is probably the only food I actually miss now.

We stopped at a Gertrude Hawke candy store. It smelled divine. Tom said I should get some sugar free candy. There was a dark chocolate peanut butter cup ... sure looked good. The darned thing had 250 calories.  I left empty handed.

My menu is the same as always.

Once in a while a 250 cal treat isn't going to kill you, especially since you would (knowing how you and I are) split the dang thing into 6 pieces and have one sliver a day.....lol!

 My self control was feeling very weak. Maybe next time.
