Good Monday Morning!!!!!
Hi I just got home from work..... Thought I would get us started this am.
Dealing with a needy cat!!!!! I came home on Thursday to a cat that misses his sister. I had to put my cat Pitt down before I left for Chicago. She has been sick for over a month with kidney failure. She got down to 5 pounds and the vet and I thought it was her time.
Tevia my boy cat is really missing his sister. Im not ready to get another cat right now.
CArl is still gone and wont be back till probably Augest.

I'm sorry about your kitty Carla.
I'm getting ready for a short trip tomorrow. I'm driving myself (it's an hour away) so that I can come back home after a day. My back and neck are still very sore and I am planning to stay only one night instead of the three nights the others are staying. It's been three weeks since my accident and the bruises on my legs are finally fading.
Tomorrow morning I'm taking my Mom to the Senior Center to play Bingo. I am trying to get her to try some activities that could occupy her time and get her out more. All she does is ride the busses to the Indian Casinos twice a week. After Bingo I'll take her out to lunch. Then I need to get on the road to the cabin.
It's hot here now... 92 today. This feels like summer finally.

Julia, I'm so glad that you feel up to this trip. Even a short time away with friends and at a cabin to boot should do wonders for you.
My mom used the Senior Center for all kinds of things well into her mid 90s. She learned to knit, took oil painting classes, line dancing, exercise classes to name a few. Hope your mom finds some things to brighten her day. Mom also volunteered at her church to help make blankets for newborns.

Carla -- so sorry about your cat. Hope Tevia adjusts soon. When we lost our ****atiel, Ethel, years ago, we had to get Fred another mate.....he grieved, didn't talk/whistle, it was so sad, so we got Barney -- it made all the difference in the world.
It's hot and humid and I wish I had the day off -- lol -- but, it's work as usual. I'm tired. Our daughter and her boyfriend came home for the weekend and we really enjoyed ourselves....they left last night.
Well wishes for those feeling poorly and wishing much happiness to everyone for a terrific day!

Sorry to hear about Pitt..we all miss our pets, but sometimes we forget that the pets left behind grieve and miss them too!!! Hope it works out well.
My daughter, (I have twin daughters and a son) totalled her car last week...no injuries !!Thank God. So now I've spent days helping her try to find another car or SUV..she is determined to get a Rav 4...something I can't afford and I don't think she can either. But, she is 26 and has to learn for herself.
My grand daughter has been spending lots of time with me which I love!!
1 and 1/2 weeks of school left and then I can sleep past 5am...well off to school.
Everyone have a wonderful day...keep smiling !!!!

Another Monday a month (year) that's really flying by!
Carla, so sorry to hear about Pitt. Tevia's going to need lots of extra TLC right now, poor guy.
I had a pretty good weekend. We spent most of Saturday with Tomas, walking at the park.
I think we picked the longest trail in the whole park this time but it was a beautiful day and we had a great time.
Afterwards we went to McDonald's for lunch and some play time on the equipment and then off to Walmart to get a new bathing suit for T.
Sunday was fairly laid back, a real do-nothing kind of day.

Carla so sorry about your kitty, we do love our fur babies.
Went to Mackinac this weekend, got hubby's walking sticks all set up for the Made in Michigan Store in the Mackinac Crossings Mall. Bill wants to hire me but I just don't have time. I waited on people while I was in the store. The Red Hat Society Ladies were there this weekend and had to go around and get their card*****hed for door prizes. They didn't buy anything but I sure liked teasing all of them when they came into the store. I enjoy their hats and shirts, what a hoot they all are. Most were bubbly and ready to gab, a few were not. I met some really nice gals from Canada, it was a combination of the Red Hat Society gals from both from the US and Canada.
Went for a run/walk with Deb my SIL (I set her up with my BIL) good match too!
Except this wild lady who is my age (54) loves to jog, well I did a combination and I hate to jog, actually it feels better to run but I just couldn't get into her rhythm of jogging, hurts my back and boobies! LOL
But I kept up mostly cuz I walk fast anyway. She has gained 15 pds. from working 3 jobs, going to school and did a lot of fast food and no exercise for a few months. She is on a mission to get those 15 pds. off. Me? Nope, slow and steady and it's not a race. Deb is an exercise physiologist and is now learning cardiac-rehab, a lot of learning meds and knowing what is on the crash cart. She is excited because she will be more marketable.

Attended 4 year old Sena's first dance recital on Sat. She was in heaven. She said she LOVED dancing in front of lots and lots of people.
