Rowing, sailing, and just paddling along. What's on your plate?
Howdy one and all!
Another crazy day ahead. Yesterday was so busy at the salon that I barely had time to get my food in, and don't think I got close to getting in all my water. Oh well, you do what you can and let the rest take care of itself, right?
So, here's what I did get in
bkfst burrito
protein bar
cottage cheese w/ applesauce
1/2 c shrimp creole
yogurt w/ LF granola
1/2 c shrimp creole
20 cherries and 6 walnuts

Oh my Susan...my boat got hit with a torpedo last night!
Yep, that pouch is in control and has the final say with me in agony for 40 minutes.
Did excellent with mindful eating all day long, got home and mowed the 10 acres with hubby, take goodness we have 2 riding lawn mowers to get the job done...but my belt broke on my mower when I was almost done with my part...
So I went in to make dinner for hubby and me. I was hungry and should have ate before him but lesson learned...crap!
Made steak, had a wonderful meal but ....and there's always a but! LOL
3 oz. steak
2 T. potato salad
1 T. Cottage cheese
1 small square of apple walnut cake and I mean a very small piece.
don't know if it was the steak and I ate too fast cuz I was hungry or that little piece of cake but I dumped bigtime, sweats, dry heaves and pain ( I don't throw up, last night I wished I did)
Lesson learned, no more apple walnut cake for me and by goodness no leftover cake.
So today it took awhile to get myself to eat but I knew I would have to fuel my body.
B: chicken sandwich on double protein bread
Now I'm drinking 33.8 oz of water
L: something light like soup in the hospital cafe
S: apple
D: don't know probably cottage cheese
S: WW yogurt
S: strawberries

I know just what you mean. I'd bet it wasn't the cake, but perhaps you ate that dense steak too fast and didn't chew well enough. Happens to me when I try to "keep up" with Gary's fast eating. Dang, sometimes I'd like to eat in a different room from him.
Eating too fast and not chewing well enough is a recipe for disaster for me. At any rate, I'd stay away from the cake, too. Never can be too careful with these finicky pouches, can we?

Hi Susan,
I'm back to logging all my food.
The plan today is:
B-1 cup cottage cheese and 1/2 cup diced peaches
L- Panera Bread Low Fat Tortilla Chicken Soup and an apple
D-Outback??? Anniversary dinner with Hubby. Don't know what I'll have yet but I'll stick to meat and a veggie. I liked their Victoria steak with a crust of blue cheese.
S-Glass of low-fat chocolate milk. (My vehicle for getting in my Benefiber.)
Still need to get to Walgreens and get the Vitamin D the doc wants me to take more of. I'm at 18 on my labs and I'm supposed to be at 30.
The unfill I had is really helping me eat the healthy stuff. Raw fruits were really bothering me and veggies needed to be cooked to death. I'm having an apple today for the first time in a long time.
