Early Thursday morning--what's new?

Hi everyone!

At around 2:30 this morning, I just woke up and now I still can't get back to sleep.  :P  I figured I'd start a thread and ask how everyone's doing.  So ... how are you? 

I'm  very stressed ... that's probably why I couldn't sleep.   I'm very frustrated (again) with Bank of America Home Lending ... still being led around in circles with them.  During the day, I need to get to social security to get copies of our award letters and fax them to Medicaid so our daughter doesn't lose her health care coverage.  It's always something!

We are having issues with BOA also.  They sent us the paperwork to re-work the loan.  Told us the next month's payment would be $300 less than what we were currently paying.  Of course we jumped on it.  Submitted all the paperwork.  Started paying the new amount on the next payment, as the letter said.  Here it is three months later and now they are telling me I owe the $300 x 3 months.  Don't have it right now.  So, now starting next month, I have to go back to the old amount AND start catching up the $900 missed, while waiting for them to approve the lower payment.  Once that is approved, all will be okay again.  Sure it will.

This is almost exactly what happened to us, George.  The guy on the phone told us to pay what we'd pay on the Making Homes Affordable program, which would be $600 less a month for us.  I had a sneaking suspicion, though, because we've been going around in circles with BOA since last November so I called to verify and sure enough, the person I talked to said oh, we have no notes or any record of that.  We're still working on sending the packet to get you approved.  Blah blah blah.  So I told them I wasn't sending any money.  Why are we going to give them $ to put us out?  We've put it in a separate account to either help us move or IF we ever get into that program to help catch us up.  :P

Gee, I am sorry you two are having so many problems with BOA.   I have found any interaction with any bank a hasstle and I really don't trust their fine print.

My back hurt too bad yesterday to do much.  For some reason about four years ago, I decorated my small bathroom and have hated it since..lol..  Yesterday,  I started to rip the border down.  I did some, only to find out my son has my indoor ladder.  He took it when he moved out to use it.  Now I have a mess started in there.  I suppose, I will have to stand on a chair if I want to get it done today.

Nothing much new going on other than that.  Today, seems like it is going to be a nice day.  Hope to catch some sun rays later today.  I have to deliver Avon today too.  I really don't feel like it..lol

Banks sure do play with us don't they???

I'm still waiting for the bank to approval my stepdaughter and SIL loan for a new house. They keep pushing the dates back. The things that are out of our control do drive us crazy!

Working is keeping me busy, working on calling my volunteers to see if they are coming to the volunteer breakfast next week, I need to get a number so we have enough food. Some people respond to RSVP, some do not. So it's back to calling again today. When I get home I never talk on the phone...don't even want to hear it ring! LOL

Just popping in to say hello.  I have a hair appt. after work for color and cut.  Then granddaughter Abbie has a ballgame.  It's supposed to rain.  I hope it doesn't because I'm looking forward to her ballgame. 

Jason and family leave tomorrow for a week of camping and sightseeing in South Dakota.  We will go to Des Moines to Christa's for Sena's 1st dance recital.  She is 4 and so excited about dancing in front of lots and lots of people.  She's our little entertainer.  Always dancing and singing for anyone who will watch.  I hope she doesn't outgrow that.  I have dreams of attending high school plays, show choir and chorus events.

Hi Cassie and my OFF family:

Where is everyone this morning? I know I'm up early ... have to go to the Honda service center to get my back door lock fixed. Got to be able to open the door so I can get the cats in the back seat when I move. That's an expensive fix that I really don't have the money to spare. But it's either that or a new car ... and this is cheaper.

I went to the pain doc yesterday for my last visit there ... Dr. Davis was very sweet and complimented me on my weight loss and my progress, and then wished me luck on my new adventure. He said he knew I had more life left in my career. Well, I hope so! Then my friend Gayle, who was my driver, and I went out to lunch at our favorite Mexican restaurant, On the Border.

I did get some packing done yesterday ... cleared out the entertainment center, but now I need more boxes and the moving center guy has promised to drop some off and hasn't done it ... twice. I dropped him an e-mail now and I'm still waiting. I'm getting kinda pissed at him ... I'm wondering if this move is going to take place as promised. I'm running out of small book-type boxes ... next I have to go to bigger boxes to put videos and books in, and I don't think they want me to do that.

And hey, how 'bout those Blackhawks! I didn'****ch the whole game, I was watching the White Sox, who whacked the Tigers yesterday ... but I turned on the hockey game just when the it was going into overtime, saw the winning goal and the celebration. First Stanley Cup in Chicago in 40 years.Yippee!

I'm going to my office to pack today... my daughter and "Grand dog" Sookie are joining me to "help"... Laura will help, Sookie will destroy.... Sookie is 8 months old now, a big, bumbling lab who loves to grab it and run. She's too cute, but I'm sure we'll have our hands full with her. After packing a while we'll take her to the dog park in the town where I work. For now I'll go back to bed for a while... love this sleeping in freedom.

morning cassie and OFF...

well right now its a chilly but sunny morning here and i feel miserable!!! i have a cold!!! GRRRRR who i got it from is no clue!!! i have been soooo careful when i saw anyone coughing or sneezing and i ALWAYS wore my gloves and cleaned up right away so not to contaminate anything or anyone!!! but i get it anyhow!!!! crap!!!!!!!!!! the sore throat is gone but now its in my nose and i hate that!!! i feel so tired out and not sure if its from the medication i am on or if its from the cold. glad i am off today yet so i can rest. supposed to go to a spa party at one of the other tenants tonight but if i still feel like i do now i will stay home.

ricks daughter and grandson came over with his mom last night. that baby is so much fun!!! he got bandit going and had us all laughing hard. anyhow nicole goes to court again on july 1st at 330. hopefully this will get thrown out of court and she will only get probation. after they left we went to the store for a few things nad saw a little plastic lawn mower marked down to $3.99 so we bought it for the baby for when he visits again. he loves the popper we got him and hope he likes this toy as well. it makes noise so i am sure he will....LOL

the roast i made for dinner last night came out good. leftovers for dinner tonight i guess.

looks like rain/storms again for the whole weekend and then ofcourse nice monday so we are thinking race will be monday so another trip back to michigan on monday for the race. unless michigan weather holds out for entire race sunday....hope it does!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

well i am going to go take a hot shower and see if that makes me feel any better and then go lay back down and rest some more. thinking of you all....and where has margo been???? and hope maui karen is ok!!! heard on the news that maui has a wildfire?? going and alot of people had to be evacuated.

Sorry about your loan woes.  I use a credit union and have no problems.  I tend to stay away from the big banks.  Maybe you can apply at a cu and pay off BOA.
Today hubs and I are celebrating our 38th anniversary by going to Outback tonite.
My sis is home from her hysterectomy and doing well.  The cancer was so small it may not even require radiation.  Let's pray that the breast cancer lumpectomy has the same good results.
I have been sticking to my food plan so well.  Today I'm going to the gym and do the treadmill.  It will be raining soon so no outside walk for me today.
