Job update
Hi Everyone!
Just updating my job situation, since I was so down on being surplussed a couple of weeks ago.
The bad news is that my principal lost her appeal to keep me and was told I had to go.
The good news is that I was hired at an awesome high school and I won't have to actually teach any classes. Just do the federally required ESOL paperwork and conduct interventions for small groups of struggling readers. No more lesson planning or gradebooks for moi !
Thanks to everyone who offered encouragement and told me I would find something better. You were right!
