Hi There, it is now 12am and all is good!!!!! We are still in a hotel in Glenview Ill. We are checking out tomorrow. I am going to be driving home in the morning. I will drive half way and stay in Asheville North Carolina and stay with a friend.
My daughters engagement party was a hit. They were so cute. I poste pictures on facebook on my site Carla Slavin-Klein. Go look. They are very cute.
Carl stil has to stay here and take care of things. He should be home around the end of July.
It has been over a week since I had to put my baby Girl Cat down. She had kidney failure and was getting sick again.
Well I need to go relax in the tub so Talk on. Ill catch up later.....

hey happy monday to all
had a bittersweet weekend, went to the memorial mass and brunch for what would
have been bob's 50th college reunion. they played a video that he made for the
reunion before he got sick. it was a hit, and it made me cry. he so wanted to
be there, but i guess it was not in the cards for him.
other than that im looking forward to a busy week here, going to get ready for work
and leave soon.

So it's really Monday again? LOL, the days just seem to run together!
Carla, so sorry about your kitty. Glad you had a good time with your daughter's engagement party and trip to IL.
Yesterday stayed nice enough for us to take Little T to the town beach. We're fortunate enough to have two lake beaches really close by because the ocean's an hour away and it's *expensive* to park and even to enter the beaches!
We played in the water and in the sand. T and I made sand castles and then the "giant" would get up, take a running leap and squash them flat, LOL. We did some swimming, too, and T was brave enough to go out to chest level water.
I'm about to leave for another dr. appt. Have a marvelous Monday everyone!

I was disappointed in the weather this weekend. It rained all day long Sat and Sun. I wanted to plan to work in my garden. Didn't do it. I did pull a bunch of peppermint that I don't want. Years ago I planted one plant and now, I can't get rid of it. I pull it each year, but believe it or not, it continues to grow and multiply. I hate it now. Anyone have any suggestions on how to get rid of it?
Watched movies all weekend and held the heating pad on my back. Having some pain there and trying to self medicate until I see the doc in July.
Nothing new, same old boring things.
My nephew gets sentenced this Wed. I am happy it will be some closure, but afraid to hear what it will be. This has been very stressful on our family.
Well, everyone have a good start on this dreary Monday. At least it is here so far.

We attended two dance recitals for Melanie this weekend.
Four year olds may lack in perfect ballerina style but their cuteness is outstanding. Melanie was all smiles and gave us a flirty wave over her shoulder as she walked off stage.
That's my two cents worth for today.
