Hello from NY!!! I made it!!!

I made it!!!!
The flight was ok. The first 45 mins were TERRIFIC....the next 30 were pretty rough (bouncing and shaking in stormy weather) but I did ok. I talked myself through and having DeanO (Dean Martin) singing in my ears helped a lot. All in all I think I did really well. I am not freaking out about the return trip (in the past I would already ******vous wreck at the thought of getting back on a plane).

How funny that both days I'm flying the weather is bad...

Well I'm off to do my 5K.
Just noticed an empty seat at the hotel PC so I thought I'd check in.

Some people might not support my WLS decision.
Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.

ruth i have been reading your posts about flying and let me tell you this little story...my mother was scared to death of flying...her girlfriend was killed in a small plane accident years ago...but anyhow her grandson was going to get married in vegas and she wanted to go so bad but had to fly...we finally talked her into it and she about squeezed my arm off when we took off and also when we landed...LOL she LOVED it!!!!!! she couldn't wait to fly again!!!!! now mind you she was 79 i believe when she flew for the first time!!! i am happy that you could experience the thrill of flying and hope your flight back is better!!! you go girl!!!! :-)
