Good gracious morning crew mates!

AGH!!!!  It's stinking hot here and it's hard to even think about eating, much less cooking! Hope this isn't a preview of what the rest of the summer will be like.

Yesterday I spent with my friend after her plastic surgery (just upper lids, no biggie) so since I was in her home, I sure couldn't go raid her pantry, so was able to stick to what I had taken with me. I did have to go out to bkfst since we had to be at the surgery center super early.

Here's my day:

1 egg, 2 sausage links, 1 pancake
1 c tortellini soup, 1 slice french bread
Vita Top muffin ( she insisted I try one, it was ok, but kind of "vitaminy")
grilled flat iron steak, baked potato, snow peas

all my fluids, various lattes and iced coffee, supplements

Out to lunch day with my friend Angela. Our outings are better than therapy and a lot more fun.

Food - nothing but the usual planned.

64 shivery degrees here. It's a good thing my sweaters are handy.

Hi Susan and Anette and those yet to chime in,

Yesterday was a pretty good day for me.  Tonight, I don't know about.  I am going to around a lot of women who are suppose to bring an appetizer.  Hope there are veggies!

B- Protein Drink
S-  String cheese
L- Ham and swiss cheese roll up
S-  String cheese
D-  Cottage cheese and pineapple- Love this stuff
S-  Early in the evening, a protein drink and then an atkis food bar later

LOL Susan you have coined a new adjective -- vitaminy-- and it's a perfect description of how some food taste.

Here is today's plan:

B - Detour 15 gm. protein bar
S - Zero powerade
L - Wendy's chili
S - Detour 15 gm. protein bar
D - Chicken salad and mixed greens
S - SF cocoa

Gotta go clean out my classroom.

Good Afternoon!

Todays menu:

B- Oatmeal pancakes (my creation....like eating giant oatmeal cookies for breakfast)
S- 1/2 apple and a protein drink
L- salmon, bulgur wheat pilaf, salad
S- PB on lite wasa, 1/2 apple (these a BIG apples)
D- Either eggs (omelets with veg and feta) or Cottage cheese....don't want anything heavy so I can get a good night sleep before my trip!!

I won't be able to post my food for a few days cause I'm not taking my lap top with me.  If I get access I'll check in otherwise I'll be back on line next week (Thurs).
