Well, it WILL be Friday in about about 7 hours.....
Wanda, so sorry to hear of your loss. I am praying for you and your family.
We are back from my DH's 50th class reunion in KS. As we were driving from KS back up to NE there was a terrible T-Storm. My DH says, these are the kind of clouds you have to watch. A tornado can develop in no time. I spent the next hour driving, watching the clouds and wondering where I would park and run to if I saw a funnel cloud!
I haven't had the time to get on here much lately. I hope everyone is feeling well, that all your jobs are satisfying and that your personal lives are fullfilling.
Have a fantabulous day!
Good Morning Wanda and everyone......
Not working today and I am glad. I get tired out so easy. I only had to work one hour yesterday as my last two weeks I got all my hours in....felt like crap but I did it!!
My sister is stopping by soon. She is getting me out of here for a little while. We are going to the grocery store. My cleaning fairy got a lot of my groceries yesterday but I like to go pick out my own roasts and steak and such. I will use an electric cart so it shouldn't go too bad.
No real wild weekend plans....LOL I might go to a movie with a friend and maybe out to eat. That's about it.
Wishing you all a really nice day.
Still keeping so many of you in my prayers.
Love and hugs to all.....connie d

Hi Wanda and my OFF family:
My brother Gary has sold his bed, mattress and box spring and the armoire from the bedroom set, and the people have come back to move it out. This is the first chance I've had to come in here and sit down at his computer. It has been a long day. Up at 7 a.m., rush to get dressed because people wanted to get in right away, breakfast while rummagers were browsing (even though the sale wasn't supposed to start until 8 a.m.). At 10 a.m., I drove down to the fourth lab I've checked out in the Milwaukee area this time to get my pre-employment drug test. This time it was a success ... although it took some time because I have a rather shy bladder. Even though I had a bottle of water and a half cup of coffee in the car when I was driving down, I couldn't go in the allotted time. So I had to sit there for an hour, drink water and read until I could try again. That time, it was a success (you have have a certain amount for a sample ... I like the GR lab better ... they took hair, I have plenty of that!).
Then it was sitting around the rest of the afternoon and watching the sale. There was the (possible) homeless man who wanted Gary's 30-year-old wine ... which probably wasn't any good ... Gary gave it to him for free ... the guy asked if there was any other free stuff. Gary said the guy had B.O. We were both leery of him, and glad when he left. Gary sold a lot of stuff ... a lot of furniture ... and has made about $300. I've made about $30. Oh well. Didn't cost me anything but gas and I needed to do that drug test somewhere.
As soon as these people are done moving the furniture, Gary and I are going out to eat. Haven't had much today, so we're both hungry.
My bariatric checkup went well ... although I did gain weight, which wasn't a surprise. They gave me new "vitamin" rules. Three times a day for calcium (breakfast, lunch and dinner), then the multivitamin/iron/Vitamin C at bedtime. I have to take an extra potassium horse pill because I'm low. (The calcium rules are for everyone.) My B-12 is a little low, although I take 1,000 daily, plus two multis. Some other changes I can't remember. I'll get my results in the mail so I'll be able to see just where I am and compare to last year. My iron is fine, so the PA didn't know why I was getting the blood spots and the bruising.
So it's been an interesting couple of days. I'm tired. Yesterday was a long day's drive. Tomorrow's another day of rummage sale. Have a good night.
