Well, it WILL be Friday in about about 7 hours.....
I got a call this morning that my uncle passed. He had cancer so not unexpected. So we will be heading to Illinois tomorrow morning. I'm so thankful that we were able to go to he and my aunt's 60th anniversary party last fall. We may not have made the effort, but since I knew it might be the last time I saw him, we went. My brother said that Dad isn't dealing well with it. I hate to see my dad cry.
Well I'll try to check in sometime over the weekend. If not - next week.

Today is my Rozzie's 8th birthday, celebration will be tomorrow but I will make today special for her too. That child keeps me young...but makes me feel old sometimes! LOL

well yesterday i did several loads of laundry and also scrubbed the carpet good. still some stains showing but not like before so i guess that stuff i bought worked somewhat. will do it again another day. went to texas road house for supper and had the rib basket. wasn't impressed at all with the ribs. kind of dry if you ask me. after that we went to the carnival and had some fun there...rick got me on the ferris wheel and let me tell you it was a high one!!! OMG!!! then after that we went on the merry go round!!! LOL we were the only ones on there and they let us ride extra long....ROFL they also have this one ride that takes you waaaaay up high then you drop REALLY fast!!! rick wants to go on that one maybe tomorrow if its not raining. i work today 1-9 and won't be in any condition to walk alot because of my hip. (seeing the pain dr on this monday morning)
some kind of bug is eating my rose bushes up!! bought some seven to put on them and i hope it helps them!! i have one bud just opening up now and its so pretty!!! was expecting it to be much darker than it is but oh well its still pretty. its a dark red supposed to be a maroon color. have a few strands of beans coming up and a good crop of radishes too. not bad for a small patio garden huh...lol
i see louisiana has some tornado activity going on now...hope susan is ok as well as anyone else there. so many storms happening anymore kind of scarry isn't it? we might have some storms pop up later today...and i am sure they will as i am at work instead of home so i can watch it....sighs
well thats about it for me today. just waiting for word on ricks daughters meeting with the sherriff's officer today to see what happens with her...hopefully she just gets probation and not jail time.

michael is at home with his blue and gold chico- chico is doing the death cry again- (pat root- do you remember when we were at frankenmuth??? )it is sad and horrid.....

Tonight I am so excited! I get to see 14 girls I went to school with, some since JR High.
Coloring my hair now, don't want anyone to see the grey. After all, I want to look 18 again...lol
I am not sure anyone will recognize me since my weight loss, though none of them saw me at my heaviest weight. I am still thinner now, then I was in school.
Well got to wash this stuff from my hair.
