thats about it for me today so i will get going....have a good day!
You certainly do get around and camping is so much fun, I have certainly done my fair share of it, camped down the east coast all the way to Miami years back when I was following the Grateful Dead on a Spring tour, usually, state campgrounds have very good facilities. . . lots of fun memories for sure. . . glad to hear you're taking vitamins. . .
Anyway, my day is about being here at work and then this evening is my AA homegroup meeting, so nothing too exciting on this day.
Wishing everyone a great day, prayers for peace and strength for those healing or experiencing life challenges.
Carla, enjoy the rest of your trip and seeing your husband. . .
Take care, Laureen

Sorry, Carla, I'm headed for Milwaukee today and my brother's moving sale. Hopefully, I'll be able to sell some of my stuff, too. Along the way, I'm going to stop and do my drug test for my new job ... more of the labs I need to use down in the
Chicago area. There's one right off the tollway in Hinsdale, so that's where I'll stop. Hopefully, the traffic won't be bad, because unfortunately, I'm going down during rush hour.
Edit: Lab in Hinsdale called; they are closed due to storms in the Chicago area, so now I have to find another lab. I am having not good feelings about LabCorp at this point, nor about this drug test. Everything seems to be going wrong. Now I'm going further off the highway, going to one in Merrillville, Ind.
I can't leave early enough because I have my 6-year bariatric checkup today at 1 p.m. Wow, I can't believe it's been six years (or will be on June 29). I moved up the appointment because I won't be in the Grand Rapids area at the end of the month and wanted to do this here, where I had the surgery. Next year, I'll find a doctor down there. I already posted on the Louisiana board to ask about doctors down there. Interested to see what my labwork says ... I did ask for a copy but haven't gotten it yet. I usually allow for two weeks before my appointment but had to ru**** this year. I just had my labwork done last Friday.
Yesterday I had lunch with my former coworker Phil. He took the buyout in the first round and has been retired since 2007; he's very happy with his new life as a nude art model ... we all thought that was very funny. He's a very tall, thin guy with glasses. When I got laid off, someone suggested I could do what Phil did and become a nude art model ... I said I'd scare off the students with all my loose skin and flab.
I didn't get much pitching and packing done yesterday, but that's OK ... my car is full and I couldn't get much more in other than my suitcase, Aerobed and pillows.
Well, that's all for me. Have a good day.
Carla... I envy you that you are able to travel. How wonderful that would be. Glad you are enjoying yourself!!
Nothing new and happening here. I only have to work about one hour today then off until Monday...Yay!!!
Had a problem during the night with some bleeding from my hip. I need to call the doctor this morning. Hope I don't get an infection!
I wish you all a really wonderful day.
You are all always in my thoughts and prayers.
Love and hugs....connie d
Good morning (four more minutes to noon anyway, lol) everyone! Thanks for all the anniversary wishes, I really appreciated them!
Yesterday TB and I took my computer tower into the town fix-it electronics place. My poor DH just cannot figure out what's going on with that thing. I kept getting the blue screen of death and TB thought we'd have to re-install Vista (UGGGGHHHH!) because that's what originally came with it. The problem didn't clear up so we took it in to get looked at. What I'd like to do is upgrade to Windows 7 or maybe get Gateway to send us an old XP package for the machine. I so hate hate hate Vista and would rather use the kids' computer than have to deal with Vista again.
Not much going on today. Tomorrow's going to be *very* busy though!
Cassie
Have a good one all!
