What's New Wednesday Edition

morning everyone.....well we have some nasty weather coming here soon...can't wait for it to happen...hahaha i love watching storms!!! (just hate the homes and people if they are destroyed or hurt) should be here soon because i see on the weather channel its just west of cleveland now and i am not that far from there.

went to AAA to pick up my trip tik for the directions to the NASCAR race on the 13th. really looking forward to that as its my first NASCAR race in person...wooohooooo :-)

talked to carla and phyllis last night finally. seems they are all over the place!! they were headed to knoxville tennessee then off to see floyd in indianapolis. guess they don't want to see me...:-(   oh well....

talked to the apartment manager yesterday when i paid the rent. i asked if there were any lower apartments available and she told me of one that would be soon maybe end of next month. its across the street from where we are now and its also in the back which means we would have a larger patio area plus grass!!! and the best part is it has a bath and a half...LOL actually its on the ground floor and no steps to climb all the time except to do the laundry. she said the people there now have lived there about 15 years so it would probably need new carpet and some other updates? i told her to let me know ASAP so i can take a look at it and let her know if we wanted it. HELL YES we want it!!!! she said it would be same rent we pay now also and that is cool!!! a bath and a half....lol there are times we NEED 2 toilets...lol. so anyhow that makes us happy that we can have a lower apartment soon. my hips just kill me anymore climbing the stairs and especially when carrying in groceries or anything heavy.

bought some cleaner to hopefully take the urine stains out of the carpet from bandit. also got some carpet cleaner to use after that. the man promised me it would work so i hope he is right. just not sure if i should start today or wait til tomorrow because of the storm coming soon. if power goes out i don't want it to be all wet ya know. need to do laundry also but again because of this storm i will wait til tomorrow so if the power goes out i don't lose my money in machines and clothes not done. so tomorrow looks like it will be very busy for me.

well best get something done around here before i stay all day on the computer again....i hate when that happens.

good seeing susan back again i missed seeing her posts even if i do not post anything.

Finally home from work. Some days feel too long and this was one of them. My client has profound hearing loss and some days she yells instead of talking. That wears me out.

I need to get moving and catch up on housework. The cats make a mess with their food and catnip. One of them should run the vacuum once in a while instead of just being lovable.

Hi Cindy and all my OFF friends,
I got some flowers planted last night.  More to do tonite after work.  Not much going on during the week for me.  Sunday we will go to a firehouse breakfast fundraiser where my niece and her husband are volunteer firefighters. 
Monday we have to have my sister to the hospital at 6:00 a.m. for her hysterectomy at 7:30 a.m.  This is to remove her uterine cancer.  I'm taking the morning off until I'm sure she is OK.  I have a Pack picnic at 6:00 p.m. that evening for the cub scouts.
Tuesday a.m. is my bariatric surgeon check-up.  I went and had my blood drawn today for the labs.  They will cc the lab reports to my gastroenterologist and my PCP.  I'm using up my sick time before half the year is over already.
Got to get back to work.

I'm last again I think... an afterthought from the West Coast... sound depressed huh?  I'm healing slowly... had to cancel a trip with fun women to a cabin this next week. I'm just not ready for a long drive, sleeping in a strange bed, and not being able to keep up with healthy adults. I am lucky to be alive, I know. My birthday was on Monday- death day...this year it was lackluster, but calm. I still hurt. At least my head staples come out today.

We had severe storms last night.  80mph winds, but no tornados.  Got to work this morning to find no power.  We worked by the light of the windows until 11 AM.  It was hard to find something to do that didn't require a computer. 

I didn't sleep well last night so I'm going to bed early tonight.
