Good morning!! See what sleeping on the couch will getcha? MEEEE!!

NIGHTTIME IS MYTIME.. OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT....

Thought I'd just post my weekend.

Saturday was a bbq with friends from the Texas Message Board. It was great girl time. Terry T was there.

Sunday, started pretty usual except that I bought four plants at Lowe's and actually planted and watered them... I hope you don't have to do that regularly. I'm so bad at that...:) Then, sister came over and we went grocery shopping.. DOES A GASTRIC BYPASS PERSON REALLY NEED $100 WORTH OF GROCERIES????? Well, by 3 p.m. I had called son and girlfriend and DIL and kids to see if they wanted to be at my house at 6 for dinner.. got home at 4, and threw together a FRESH blackberry cobbler, wilted spinach salad, baked potatoes, fresh mushrooms, and steaks on the grill and we were eating at 6:15.. we watched Mr. Roberts until 10 p.m.

I fell asleep on the couch and tossed and turned until 5 a.m. this morning and then got in my bed and had bizarro dreams... anyone interpret??..:) Got up and made it to $4 by 8 this morning.. and headed for the closed office, took some Computer Based Training, got home at 4 p.m... took a nap, ate too much left over spinach salad and hoping beyond hope that it will digest or I'll in the ER with IV's tomorrow...:)

And that's the rest of the story.

Good morning Janet and everyone else.
Still quiet here in our hotel,   No little kids bouncing off the walls yet.  The have enough sense to still be sleeping at 6'30 on a holiday Monday!!!  I woke with a nightmare so no more sleep for me.
We were literally getting in the car Sat morning when the social worker who doesn't know how to use a phone drove in with another little charge for us.      Five min and she would have missed us,  shes the type that think we sit at home waiting for her magnificent self to honor us with her whatever,   we are not impressed by her.  We just stuck the little one in the car and here we are!   just exploring  nothing major.   Think we are gonna hit the Toledo zoo before heading up home  that is more kid friendly fun than the history and flea market stuff we did yesterday.    Hope   everyone has a nice relaxing day free  of stress today.  prayers still going up daily from our house to yours

Couch Potato Good morning
It is a beautiful day here with warm temps expected and not a cloud in the sky. Picture perfect.

My client decided to make plans for us to go out for breakfast with her new friend. She has made a friend through our clay class - my daughter's mother-in-law, Sue. So, I get paid to see a friend, go out to breakfast, and all expenses are paid. Yeah, real hard work. Winky 2

Good morning all !!!!

After 6 days in Cayuga med. I am determined to clean my house today.  Vacuuming has not been done in 2 weeks I think.

My son will help me and then we have speidies to grill.

Other than that I am still trying to recoup and mentally prepare myself to go back to work (school)..just 3 1/2 more weeks..then summer vacation.  YEAH!!!!

I spent hours yesterday researching severe delayed dumping, rapid gastric emptying and severe reactive hypoglycemia to try and figure out..:"Just what the he^^ am I supposed to eat?"  Its a daunting chore, but I can't just eat anything.  Went shopping with my daughter and had my first taste and use of glucose tablets when my sugar level crashed in Target...they taste terrible, but with that tablet and some peanuts I did feel better.

Keep smilin' everyone ..enjoy your day off if you have it off...blessings and prayers to all, whether you need them or not.

connie hope you are doing and feeling better today.

And a good morning back at ya! It's just breaking day here in Chehalis, WA and all is quiet still. Twins were at a friendly neighborhood "barby" last night and didn't get to bed til almost 9pm. Hopefully they'll have the good sense to sleep in this morning and give everyone some quiet time before they start rattling their cages!

Question for the day: How do I destroy a hard drive? Erin is recycling an old computer but feels like she should literally destroy the hard drive. It has some sensitive work info on it. When I read up on it just erasing or using a disk doctor program doesn't seem like enough. They talk about drilling holes in it or beating it with a hammer. Heck, I don't even know where to find it? When we do manage to destroy it do we take the pieces along with the rest of the CPU to the computer recycling place? Washington has a computer reyling program statewide. Guess I'll try to give them a call.

Hit the ground running when I got here yesterday. Changed beds, emptied dishwasher, read stories, played building blocks, ate "tend" cookies and got lots of loving. Today will be busy around here. If it's nice I'll take the girls to the park and out of Momma's hair for an hour or so. Four weeks to go until Briley arrives. Doctor says she is over 5 lbs which sounds really good to us.

Everything is in full bloom here in western Washington. Azalias and Rhodadendrons are abaze in every color imaginable! Have a nice day everyone.

Sending up a big thank you to those who help keep us free. Wish we could find another way. I"m such a non combative person. Just wish the powers that be could figure out a way to live peacefully on our beautiful earth.

Hey Janet and my OFF family:

How are y'all? Practicing my southern accent, getting ready for Louisiana. Woke up to thunderstorms and pouring rain this morning, but now it's clearing up and sunny. Supposed to be cooler today, but the pollen count is still high, so I'm not sure I'll open the windows yet. My neighbors have lots of flowers, and when the wind blows, all that stuff comes into my house.

Did a little pitching and packing yesterday, mostly getting stuff ready for my brother's rummage sale ... running out of room in the car because I can't open the back doors yet (part is ordered at the Honda dealer), so anything I put in the back seat will have to be easily retrieved by kneeling on the front seats. But I did get rid of lots of stuff. Wish I had more room to get some of the big stuff out there ... if only I didn't live in this crappy condo association with its stupid rules.

More pitching and packing planned for today, baseball watching, reading, etc. Body hurts a lot and I'm getting a headache, which means more storms are coming.

Well, have a good day.

Good late morning.  We are home from the campsite.  I've started a load of campfire smoke smelling clothes, put things away and just sat down to get caught up on OH and e-mails.  We had a wonderful weekend. The smoked ribs last night were very tender and I had no problem eating 1 rib. I also ate 2 bites of watermellon, 2 cooked baby carrots and 2 bites of fried potatoes.  Last year, I would have filled my plate heaping and gone back for seconds!  Even with that, I didn't use the bathroom during the night so I imagine my weight is up for fluid retention.  Hopefully I'll be able to flush out today.  I drank plenty of water while camping, but the warm weather always causes me to retain fluid.

Picked peonies and took to the cemetary yesterday to decorate the in-laws graves.  My DH didn't go.  It really bothers him to visit the graves of his parents.  So I met up with 3 of his sisters and his brother.  None of them had seen me since 63 pounds ago and they could sure tell a difference.

Think I'll put a loin on the grill today.  There are left over chips and dip. I'll take those to work tomorrow to get rid of them.  They are a HUGE weakness for me so I have to get them out of the house.

Some people might not support my WLS decision.
Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.
