sunday holiday edition
Good morning Jacki and everyone....
More recovering for me today....over did it yesterday a bit....really exhausted today.
Not much else happening here. Trying to get back in my eating and drinking water routine....the hospital food was awful!
Thinking of you all and wishing you a wonderful day.
Prayers as always to so many here on OFF.
Love and hugs to all......connie d

Hi Jacki and my OFF family:
It's a warm day already ... 85 degrees and windy. Looks nice out there, but I learned a couple days ago that the pollen is so bad, I don't dare go out. The weather is supposed to cool off tomorrow, but the pollen is still bad. I have no big plans for today, just sticking around the house, pitching and packing, doing laundry, watching baseball and reading ...hopefully I'll get more done today than yesterday.
After lunch with my friend at the Mexican restaurant, which was a lot of fun, by the way, I came home and did absolutely nothing ... played around on the computer for awhile, watched baseball ... I was so sleepy (drunk from the one beer I had) I went to bed at 9 p.m. to read. I thought about taking a nap but couldn't sleep in my recliner. Didn't really go to sleep early (1 a.m.) but was in bed reading and watching baseball early.
I got my 401k check and it was less than I expected ... won't have as much money available to me for the move. I have enough to pay the movers and a little for first month's rent, but not much more than that. I hope none of the utilities want deposits, or I'm screwed. Oh well. A little disappointed, that's all.
Well, that's all for me. Have a good weekend.

Hello Jacki & all,
Many of our regulars are MIA.
My life is so dull, it wouldn't be of interest. Maybe they are busy and having fun?
This morning I went to see Marcy. She is still smiling but oh what a confusing diet she will have to learn. At support group meetings she can tell the Newbies the horrors of dumping even when following the eating plan correctly ... This will be a learning experience for me too.
We didn't stay long because Tom's foot was swollen and painful. During the ride, we had a discussion about reversing the RNY. HE believes that after a certain length of time we have developed good eating habits and won't regain. HA - it is obvious that he fails to understand about the restriction of our pouch. Time for him to attend another group meeting with me. Sort of a refresher course.
Kisses
Annette
