Up Early - What are you planning today?
Good Morning,
I'm so glad that I got to go to work yesterday. The children are so sweet. The older ones were fascinated by my stapled head and the younger ones were just glad to hug me. I'm so blessed. I packed a little- my office is definitely moving. I left early and when I got home I went straight to bed for a six hour nap. My body is so THRASHED! There must be internal bruises because I just ache all over. I can't breathe too deeply, cough, sneeze.... but still, it is much better than before... so I'm not complaining... just the facts.
Today I attempt the grocery store. Our cupboards are empty (not really)...I have a rolling cart to get the bags into the house. Tonight a friend is having a small gathering to celebrate his retirement. I will have a glass of wine or two. Tomorrow we are meeting some friends at their annual cabin retreat- will stay a few hours. Sunday is our Mother's Day/Birthday celebration. My birthday is on Monday, Memorial Day. It doesn't feel like it could be my birthday already because it hasn't been hot here yet. We are having lots of rain.
