OT: Thank you Julia!

Decided I had better get my tires rotated before heading to Hannah and Clara's on Sunday. Thank you Julia. I knew I was overdue  but I thought I was within about 1000 miles of the 5000 that I try to go. . . Wrong, over 7000 miles on my Honda Accord since January. Lots of trips to see the twins. . . Two of the tires were starting to separate, whatever that means but doesn't sound good. I thought I had about 30,000 on these tires which were 60,000 miles tires. . . Would you believe almost 50,000?  And the car was out of alignment causing uneven wear tho there was still plenty of tread. So instead of a tire rotation I now have 4 beautiful new tires and a new alignment. I am really good about having my car serviced and maintained but this got by me. I do not want to have to experience what you so valiantly went through.. .  This is money spent that I will not gripe about.

I'm so, so glad that you had them checked. I know that I am not nearly as focused on maintenance in the car as I need to be- you obviously are... and they still needed replacement. I think it is the alignment that got me too. Money is frequently our reason to ignore things... me too.
