Sometimes we feel the pressure of food decisions...sometimes we don't! Worked out hard yesterday a****er Aerobics, was hungry after workout even after eating a half of a banana after the workout. HUNGER! Didn't do too bad, ate roast beef wrapped in flatbread...but later on ate some popcorn while I was watching 24 (love that show) thankfully hubby was helping me eat the popcorn! LOL....okay today is another day to practice mindful eating! I will do this- hugs Debbie

Question for the day

What eating decision did you make yesterday (I am going to eat this because I am hungry/I am going to stop because it no longer tastes good/ I didn't eat the cookies when the girls scouts tried to peer pressure me) that you feel good about???

If nothing hits you right away, give it some thought -- you average 250 food decisions per day -- there is at least one you made that you should feel positive about.

Got it?  Okay.  How do you do more of that today?

Avg 250 food decisions per day!!!????!!!!!!!   would love to see the data behind that.

I decided to eat a hotdog on Saturday it was the first one I've had in over 2 years....no where near as good as I used to think.  No regrets about eating it but have no interest in another.

I also decided to eat a NY pretzel.....that was an instantaneous, not planned food decision and this one I do regret because it was just too doughy and laid too heavy in my belly for at least 2 days!!

Today I am going out to lunch with a friend and already have decided what I'm going to eat....it's nice and healthy.

Good for you Ruth, going to have something nice and healthy.

Yes, we make over 250 food decisions a day...Sigh...sometimes it is the right decision, sometimes not...but if it's the "not so right decision" at least sit down and savor each bite! LOL

We can't be perfect all the time. I love hotdogs and always will. Now a NY pretzel sounds wonderful, never had one of those but I would savor at least 3 bites of it!

You are doing great, you are always mindful of your eating...and exercising! Go girl!! And now you are flying too without fear. I'm so proud of you.
