Sunday morning
Where is everyone this beautiful Sunday morning? I don't have much to report. Went to the lake last night to visit with our kids while they are camping. I cooked some shrimp on the grill for myself while everyone else had steak. It was cool so the campfire felt good. We came home about 10 PM. Only 1 deer this time. We took the old car just in case. It stayed in the ditch and watched us as we passed by.
We will attend a funeral visitation this evening for our good friend Jim. My DH is pallbearer.

I'm surprised to come in real quick and find that I'm an early poster to the thread, LOL. Must be everyone slept in, sleepy Sunday!
Wanda, sounds like you had such a lovely time yesterday. I'm sorry for the loss of your friend, Jim.
This morning I need to fill out a bunch of paper work for the agency consumer reporter Jim Donovan recommended to help us with our quest to get our loan with Bank of America modified. I waited until the last minute, as usual. We've decided to "let go and let God" and whatever happens, happens. It's just a house and we're tired of struggling struggling struggling.
Later? I'm just going to relax and goof off.

What a beautiful Michigan day! I hope the warm stays this time. I am still in the hotel with My friend who had surgery gonna take her home with me today, My house will be chaotic so she might not want to stay with me but she can stay in as nice little hotel close by so I can assist as she need it. She is feeling much more like Teresa today! Little bit loves it here in the hotel!! She finally is opening up! just got back from the breakfast bar where waffles with cream cheese and PB is
"wumbeful! no seyup cuz thats icky and puts holes in teef!' some one has started this little bit of humanity on a lifetime of good eating too bad whoever let a perverted monster near her!!! Gonna go take my perpetual motion swimming again soTeresa can

Nothing much to report today. My hair is finally fixed and looking more like I like it......well at least better....3 times to correct it and I am glad it is over.... my hair was a mess!!! No HOOKER look anymore!!
No great plans for today.....just doing whatever I feel like doing. Going to try to walk a little if I can. I will be glad when that surgery is over and I can walk without pain again!

Morning All!
My day sort of started at 2am ish when I heard the dog puking outside my bedroom door. Did the clean up, calmed my baby down and went back to bed. Woke up at 6am, he had left his bed, was outside my room again and was spitting up slimy stuff. As I walked past his room I noticed he spat up on his bed cover too. Took him outside and all he wants to do is eat grass....bad sign...more to come.
Going to get the carpet shampooer out of the garage and clean the living room carpet.
Called my parents told them I'd be there in early June....they told me my grandfather, who is 94, is in the hospital with pneumonia.....seems he caught something when he was in he hospital about 3 or 4 weeks ago for surgery on his colon. I called grandpa and got to speak to him for a long time...he sounded pretty good and they expect him to go home at the end of next week. I know they don't want to worry me needlessly but I wish they had told me about this 2 weeks ago when it first happened!
Anyhow....going to work on my travel plans today....have to figure out how to fit in seeing everyone in only a few days.
I made yogurt this morning......it is doing it's thing in the pot right now....will be ready for eating tomorrow.
Tomorrow morning I'll be weeding and preparing beds for some new plants. I think I could get used to this retirement thing.......too bad I do have to work and earn some money (plus I need medical benefits...mine end in Dec).

Hi Wanda and my OFF family:
I've got salsa chicken in the slow cooker ... it just started not long ago so the smell is very subtle right now. I kept saying I was going to make it but I put it off until too late to start it. So today I didn't put it off.
I was so disappointed in my shopping yesterday. I did get my cat supplies ... knew that would get done. But I went to two stores and couldn't find anything suitable in the way of shells at Younkers or Dress Barn ... plus I went to Penney's to pick up the black pants I had ordered, and they weren't there. The clerk told me they would be in on Friday, and I didn't get a call, so I just went to get them. Well, when I got there, they couldn't find my phone number in the database, so another clerk went to look and she said, "Oh, your package didn't get on the truck. It won't be here until Wednesday. They called you to tell you that." Well, that'll be too late, and no, they didn't call me, so I made a trip to get something that wasn't there. I do have a pair of black slacks, but I really liked these because they were zipperless. Anyway, still don't have that third top to wear. And I'm really tired of shopping.
My mom called me last night and asked me why I wasn't down there. I told her I was coming down on Tuesday. She had misunderstood ... or hadn't heard me right ... with her hearing, you never know. Anyway, she was worried. I was safe at home, sitting in my jammies watching baseball.
No big plans today ... laundry, litter boxes, baseball, reading. Typical Sunday. I live such an exciting life.

I've been to Starbucks and about to go back... and read the paper some more.
Can't stay focused on my house. I know some of you enjoy your homes. I do not. Never have. Trying to find a housekeeper now... just hate the housework and yardwork. And now, I'm going to have to work from home with a new program started at work. I resisted but was told my job was more secure at home than if I stayed in the office. So.....
Well, I'm off to Best Buy to check monitors for laptops... never an end to the fun.
