It's Saturday...so what's new with you?

Hey....be careful....it's only been a couple days....don't over do it!

Glad you are feeling so well but do take it easy.

My kids told me the same thing last night.  I think my daughter and DIL are just stunned that I feel so good.  They were both in bed for a few days after their GB surgeries.   I'll try my best to take it easy.

Happy Saturday, the weekend is here at last!

For me, it's been a loooong week and that's why I haven't been around.

Just a quick catch-up:

My hubby TB had appts to see how his kidneys are functioning.  He went to a specialist last week that was concerned there might be some damage from the diabetes TB suffered from for years.  So far, everything's turning out fine.  He went back to that specialist again for another test and the dr said they're just waiting for blood work results to come back.  Praying there's no damage from the diabetes and what's happening is easily treatable ...

Mom's being difficult.  My poor brother is being run ragged and we really need to hire a visiting nurse/homehealth care aide/companion for my mom.  Of course, she's resisting so part of what's happened is that my bro and I were working together to try and convince mom this is necessary.  Sigh.

More complications with younger stepdaughter.  It's always something.

And the usual days filled with doctor appointments and what have you.

Whew.  I need the weekend to recover.

Today the little guy is coming over.  We're going to do something outdoors-y.

I did do one thing for me--yesterday I got my hair permed with the $ the kids kicked in for me as part of their Mother's Day gift.  I am so pleased with how it came out!

Hi Ruth and my OFF family:

Another day, the same ol' headache. I'm really getting sick of this. It started out this morning over the center of my forehead, then migrated to the left side ... can't tell if it's a sinus headache or a migraine. I took an Imitrex, then smeared Vicks over the forehead ... now my eyes are all runny, but that's a good thing. I really do have to finish my running around that I didn't do yesterday.

The cats let me sleep til almost 9 a.m. today. Then I was greeted with kitty kisses and purring and meows. Nettie even licked my legs.

Not much on my agenda today. Like I said, I need to get out to PetsMart and get my cat supplies, then out to the mall to look for that last shell for my interview outfit. I hate going to the mall on Saturday. I thought about making a steak today, but can't find one in the freezer ... did find something really old that I didn't throw out from last August's power outage ... yuck! Have to think of something else for dinner.

Round three with my hair color today...will it ever be right!!!!!!  I am sooooooo frustrated!!! 

Other then that I am just going to enjoy my day and relax and do what ever I want....yup that sounds good to me!!

I went out with friends last night...bar hopping....had a great time.....good to be out and about. I couldn't dance...darn hip!!

I need to color mine (I normally do it myself)...that'll be a next week thing.

Hi Ruth...my hair is now pretty much the way I like it....finally after three attempts! I was about to the point of shaving it all off!!  It is highlighted with three shades of blonde...I can now leave my house without looking like a hooker....LOL!!
