side effects of bariatric advantage

hello. I have started my preop diet and taken bariatric advantage powder. My BM is green! and my diabetes was uncontrolled even after taken the medicines and following diet recommendations. Any ideas?

Don't worry ab out your diabetes...it will adjust when you have the surgery....mine was all over the charts.....I was on over 200 units a day and within one week of surgery I was off insulin....amazing....yeah...really amazing. Have faith and do what the docs say. Marti

Don't know about the diabetes, but I'm guessing the greenish BMs are from the iron in the bariatric advantage powder (is this a vitamin supplement?). Anything with high iron content will do this when you first take it, turn your BMs green or blac****il your body gets used to it.

Call your bariatric surgeon's office now.
They will probably tell you to eat something but every surgeon is different.
