ToTo, We're Not In Iowa Anymore

We're in Kansas.  Here at the hotel last night there was a terrible storm and we're on the 2nd flood.  Tornado watch until midnight, but as far as I know, there were no tornadoes, but very strong winds and baseball sized hail just 13 miles "down the road".  They were showing the damage on the news this morning.  (We watched while waiting at the hospital).  I was glad I didn't know that was going on or I would have been pretty nervous, since we are in the path of that storm.  It must have subsided before it got to us.  At one time I did think I heard hail, but didn't notice damage here.

Dodged another bullet.  By looking at the radar last night, I think we were getting some pretty good storms at home too.

A couple of weeks ago when we got home from Illinois, I posted about our downed tree.  Well this week, another huge portion came down during a storm.  There's not much left.  I'm wondering if we'll find the rest of it down when we get home tomorrow.

Well, I'm needing a nap.

Some people might not support my WLS decision.
Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.
