Morning, Crew Mates!

Okay, I finally have a recipe for the day. Since I've been up since 3:20, I've had plenty of time to look for one....lol  It's for marmalade chicken, and I think it's what for dinner tonight.

I was very busy yesterday and getting in all my food was tricky, but I did it. I found a great snack that you ladies might want to look for. Roasted, lightly salted soybeans!  A serving is 1/3 cup, 150 cals and 14 grams of protein!!!!  I found them at Drug Emporium, one lb bag for under $3. What a deal, too!
If I remember, I get the brand name so you can look for it in your neighborhood, or possibly order it online. I think they're worth it.

Yesterday:

bkfst burrito
pineapple/cottage cheese
lean cuisine roasted chicken and veggies
banana
roasted soybeans
chili, roll

lattes, protein coffee, 120 oz wawa and supplements.

Hope everyone is having a great week sailing along together!

We have the roasted soybeans in our bulk foods at Winco. They are a little different but I like them too.

I've seen the ones that look like round spanish peanuts, you know, with the brownish skins? These are split in half, and almost look like a cream colored lentil. That's my best description.
I measured out 2 1/2 oz into a measuring beaker (for peroxide...only thing I had at the salon that I could measure into), and it's quite a lot. When I went into the back room to mix color I'd just pop a few into my mouth. Kept me going when I didn't have any real time to eat.

How was your massage? Do you think it helped?

The kids gave me a gift card for a fancy schmancy spa for a "Bach Flower Massage", whatever that is. Now, I just need to find time to go get it done.   Right.

Hi Susan,
The massage was wonderful and I do think it is helping.
I felt SO MUCH better yesterday after my first session on Tues.  My feet and toes were visibly less swollen.  Today I'm a little more swollen than yesterday because I did a 3.5 mile walk in the morning but still I did not swell up as much as I had been.  Today was about a 50 min massage...yummy.

I don't know what a Bach Flower Massage is but if I were you I'd find the time to do it.  :-)  ENJOY!!
