Morning Crew!  Hope your boat is sailing along a smooth ocean.

Yesterday, well, the whole weekend, really, was like controlled chaos as far as eating. I only cooked/prepared one meal the whole two days, which is very nice, indeed, but I don't feel I have a lot of control over what I'm eating. I think I managed to do alright, but I know there was too much fat involved. So, today is a new day, the celebrating is over, and I'm back to work. Whew! I feel better already!

I found a new website you might enjoy looking at. It's http://www.eatingwell.com, from the editors of Eating Well Magazine. Lots of great recipes, some even for two, which is so hard to find. They all have the nutritional info listed as well as great pics. It could be my new favorite!

Here's yesterday's menu. Not for the faint of heart!

Huevos rancheros, 1/4 c hash browns, 1 sm tortilla

Panera Bread's Fuji Apple/Chicken Salad. Yummmmmmm

Vegan night complements of the kids; pozole (mexican hominy stew), mango/jicama salad, guacamole, chips. SF FF frozen chocolate yogurt.

various lattes, protein coffees lots and lots of water.

Morning Susan and everyone!

This weekend for me wa**** and miss.  My husband took me out to breakfast on Sat.  I ordered a Gyro and veggie omlet.  Pretty good.  Could only eat half and took it home for later.

Yesterday -

Coffee

B- Protein drink
S-
Food Bar
Lunch- Chicken breast and coleslaw
S-
D- Cottage cheese,
S- Yogurt

Still gained three pounds this week.  Bummer.  Walked this morning because of the weather I haven't been able to do.  I want to lose 10 lbs before I have to go to a graduation party June 12th ( I think that is the date)

Hi Mary,

Just a thought, and just an opinion, but maybe, just maybe you're not getting in enough calories. You might need to take a look at your calorie count as this looks pretty low to me, as far out as you are. Again, just my own thoughts.

You might be right.  Going to try and up my protein and caloric intake.  How many calories do you have each day?

I just went back through my food log to see what I was eating at about the same time frame you're in. It was about 700-800 cals, 50% pro, 30% carb, 20% fat. I think I went to 1000 cals a day at about 12-14 months out, then up to 1400 cals since then.

let's just say that i am not getting enough protein or water...............

i defrosted boneless pork chops and really really wanted to cook em in mandarin oranges --so- i'm sleeping and michael made his slop chuey--which was delish but c'mon-boneless pork chops!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

of course, his way, it spread 4 small chops into about 15gazillion dinners...well- probly 4-5 !
