Exercise.....moving and making muscles....weekend edition

Didn't get out for a walk yesterday but did spend 3 hours working with Mike in my daughter's yard. She is almost 8 months pregnant, her husband is teaching 6th grade, coaching high school baseball, and in his spare time taking  classes for his professional certification. And it has been raining and storming so much lately. . . So their lawn and back "forty" look like pasture. Tons of volunteer maple trees had sprouted inthe mulch. We really made it look so much better and he was absolutely delighted when he got home to find that he didn't have to spend his whole weekend doing yard work.

This morning I took the twins for a nice walk. No real exercise but such fun. We walked across the road to visit 6 miniature ponies and then walked about 1/4 mile in the neighborhood. No stroller for us; they remind me that they are "big girls" now. We saw birds, worms, kitties, a creek, played with rocks, sticks, and pinecones. They are now down for a good nap and I'm tired too. Sunshine will do that to me!

Tomorrow I drop Mike and his friend off in Seattle  at the cruise terminal. I'll spend the day with my sister in law and then the night with my son and his girlfriend. Monday I'll head back down here. There is a Gold's Gym up there and I think I have a visitor's pass. Perhaps I'll try to fit that in.
