Thanks for your thoughts and prayers.  We have been giving her a lot of support and encouragement on her losing weight.  And now this.  She was so supportive of me when I came home after my cancer surgeries by cooking and cleaning and sitting there reading while I slept.  She stayed there ready to get me something when I awoke.  I plan to do the same thing for her.
I'm hoping like crazy that her breast biopsy turns out to be nothing but dense tissue.
Thanks for letting me vent.
Bev

Winding up things on my current job.  I start the new job on Wednesday next week.  Coming up fast!    I'm cleaning files and doing last minute project finishes.
I'm looking forward to the new job and hoping I don't let the stress get me.  I've done management before, but I have new coping mechanisms for stress now and I feel good.

The wardrobe is coming together, too.  Between our local WLS clothes swap, a few new things from Herberger's, and a few used from Savers and from my sister - - I'm getting pretty well set.
On Tuesday they are having a party for me here.  That should be fun!

Nope, I never did hear a word back - and I did post.  Some people do just go away I guess.  I'm less inclined to worry, she seemed like she was doing just fine.

Hi Karen and my OFF family:

Well, it started out sunny today but has clouded up already. We had some rain around noon yesterday but then it cleared up and was beautiful ... who knew? It sure looked like it was going to rain all day and sure felt like it to me.

I have to get out today to bring in the short sale paperwork ... I was going to mail it in, but she wants it now, so she suggested I bring it over to the realtor's office and they can fax it over. Good ... it'll save me postage. Plus, I have to mail my Mother's Day card.

Finished reading "The Lady Elizabeth" by Alison Weir ... very good. Need to find another book to read ... don't worry, I have plenty, just have to decide on another one. I stayed up til nearly 2 a.m. finishing the book, because I was so close to the end. Watched baseball til then and fell asleep with the TV (had it go off while I fell asleep to an extra innings game).

I should go to the pool today ... didn't yesterday because I thought it was going to storm and they usually close the pool if there's a chance of lightning ... and then there wasn't. So after lunch at the Mexican restaurant with Gayle, I did my grocery shopping (it really is true, you buy less if go you shopping on a full stomach!). Still spent enough, though, because I bought some staples, like PUR filters for the kitchen faucet, paper towels, etc. Not much in food, though. The PUR filters are expensive but still cheaper than bottled water.

They are powerwashing the buildings here and then they are going to actually do some work on the siding ... the first in the eight years I've been here. Our buildings look like crap. Several buyers who came by asked about the chipping paint on the side of the house ... well, there's nothing I could do about that.

Well, have a good day. I guess I've rambled on enough.
