Exercise....let's get movin' - Tuesday

Good Morning!
I ended up doing over 2 miles walking yesterday....was not planned......but we just kept going and going (shopping). By the time we got home from my big adventure, having lunch, running errands and shopping it was 6 hrs later! I was a bit swollen, not as bad as I was swelling 2 weeks ago but I was exhausted and very uncomfortable. I'll see what the surgeon says about exercise when I see him this afternoon.
Anybody have plans for today that include any form of exercise?

I plan to walk here during break time, getting in 3 miles then if it's nice when I get home I will ride my bike!
I've been working out with bands for my arms when I walk. I know I look stupid but then again, I just don't care what people think of me...especially strangers. LOL
Now today, keep those legs elevated for awhile, you did a lot of walking girlfriend. Hope your doc gives you the okay to exercise. Just don't pu**** babysteps my friend.

I did 15 mins on the elliptical (since I'm between books, lol) followed up by 3 sets each of lat pull downs, pec presses, bicep curls and forearm curls....

I just finished up the David Gibbins series.... Atlantis, Crusader Gold, The Lost Tomb and The Tiger Warrior....

Hello Ruth....I am going to try to get out and walk some today.
I have been having pain in my hip (the one I broke last June)that goes into my knee and shin. I need to see my surgeon at the end of the month as he wants to take that pin out of my hip. He said I am too active to leave it there and it does cause pain. I am going to call his office today and hopefully he can get me in earlier.
I will also do my exercise ball exercises....I am really feeling those crunchs!!
