Aloha sweet Nan........Thank you so much for posting and sharing a little bit of your wonderful news. All of you have been through so much, and the Iceland volcano was way over the top!!!! You ARE a survivor, and I love your pictures with your beautiful children.

Hi Karen,
So nice to see you posting again.  I love your descriptions of your little corner of paradise.  It feels as if I'm almost there.
Like you with your grandkids on the mainland, our grandkids are a trip to see.  I would love to work with babies.  You are so lucky.
Glad you're back!
Bev

Aloha Bev, and thank you so much for responding. You DO understand being a long distance grandma! In some ways I'm grateful, because I know if I lived nearby them, I would be babysitting ALL THE TIME, and I love to babysit....but I'm not a spring chicken and three little boys can wear me down really FAST!! Ha! I'm hoping that someday as they grow up and become surfers like their dad, they will beg to come and see "tutu" because I live right near one of the world's best surfing spots.

And, oh yes, I am very lucky to have my part time baby testing job. Ironically I love it when they are fussy because then I get to pick them up and smooch on them and talk to them and get them to sleep. Wonderful way to start a day.\

Thanks again!!

Aloha nui loa,

Maui Karen
