Aloha!

How lovely that you lived here while your children were little. The little ones so love the beach, the ocean and the sunshine. My son became a surfer dude here when he was about 12....and still surfs in Calif....and he's in his 40's!!

You are amazing in all that you do. I love to follow your posts. And, you, TOO, keep up the good work!

Aloha nui loa,

It's so good to see your smiling face on the board.  We all miss you, you know.

It's hard to believe it's been over 2 years since you started testing your babies.  Time is sure flying by.  I remember it used to drag, one day after another, but now, due to increased age and improved health, it just flies by!

I can't wait to see your beautiful Maui.  Not sure when I'll be able to come, but the trip is very high on my Bucket List.  I have to adjust first to this retirement thing, then will really start looking into it.  Right now it's a dream.

Please keep in touch.  We do miss you.

Candy

Aloha you cute little menehune!!

Me, too, on not believing that I've been a baby hearing screener for over two years!! It is a gift that this job "found me" because it is part time and most of the time is spent with darling little sweet newborns. Any problems I have are with the computers or the other screeners...Ha!

How is retirement feeling? You have looked forward to this for so long....I hope you just give yourself time to do nothing, to smell the roses, to read a few books, and to just sit in the sunshine and be thankful. I do all of those a lot!

Maui will be waiting for you. When you start planning, let me know...maybe I can help on times of year, costs, etc. One site you might check out is www.maalaeabay.com It rents units on my street and you can see pictures, etc. You may find somewhere much less expensive when doing research. Sometimes the planning is almost as fun as the doing!

Aloha nui loa,

Maui Karen

Good to see you again. I'm hanging in there, waiting for my new life to take shape. Got an offer on my condo, a lead on a job in Louisiana and still waiting to hear on disability. Sounds like you're keeping busy, which is always good ... I just got back from vacation. Someday, I'd like to get back to Maui ... only spent a day on the island during my cruise but loved it.

My e-mail's in my signature.

Some people might not support my WLS decision.
Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.

Karen, so good to see your post!! You have been missed. I just got back from N. Carolina, my son finally made it back from Afghanistan. The Iceland volcano made us wait almost 2 extra weeks. My DH came home a few days ago & my son brought me home today.

I am so glad to hear things are going good for you. Your job sounds like a dream job. Come & vivit more often.
