Not sure how your night went, but I'm keeping the chickens airborne, just in case.....

Susan, My cousins in Kansas had a basement. One of the rooms, for some reason, had 3 concrete walls out of four. That became their "storm room". I would be up pacing all night. Not that that would help much but I know I wouldn't be able to sleep. We get a lot of wind. Once about 10 yrs ago it was almost 90 MPH BUT it is a straight wind, no funnel clouds. Can still do a lot of damage but you at least can predict which way it will go. In 1968 when I was attending college in Conway, AR there were tornados  that killed I believe over 50 people in and around Jonesboro, AR. Stay safe; sending you an extra hug.

It's morning, hope you made it through the night all right. We are getting rain and I heard some thunder overnight. I hate tornado warnings, too ... lived through some in South Dakota and don't want to do that again.

I have some chicken thighs in the freezer ... I'll swing those ... or maybe the cats ... nah, they get a little dizzy ... MEOW!

Susan...I am glad you made it through the worst of the storm and you are okay!! I will continue to pray for all those effected by this harsh weather and more of the same to come.
