Exercise...."it's a good thing" - Thursday

Good Morning!
Ok I've accepted the fact that I cannot workout yet.  I need to let my body fully heal.  But I look forward to when I can get back into the swim of things.   I will still do some light weight lifting and while laying down on top of the bed I will do stuff like side leg lifts and maybe some crunches but I will not be doing any cardio walks.  I of course will be walking around the house and will do light housework but won't be shampooing the carpets like I had planned to do today.

Anyhow.....it's all good, I'm ok with it 'cause I know I'm doing what is best for me in the long run. 

How about you?  What are you doing for yourself so you feel good and healthy??

Hello Ruth....

I went out for my 3 mile walk this morning....got rained on half way through...I just had to pu**** a little harder so I didn't get drenched!!!  I am not made of sugar and I didn't melt....darn...still need to keep exercising....LOL.

I am going to do my 100 crunches and other exercises on my exercise ball when I finish on the computer.

Have you every tried doing "bicycle" peddling laying on the floor instead of crunches?  I found I got better results doing the bicycles instead of crunches.

Hi....I do those too and 4 other "AB" exercises everyday.

Hi Ruth and Connie and those fellow exercisers to follow my post...

Well got busy at work and missed my walk mainly cuz my boss and co-worker took me out to lunch for Adm. Assistant's Day (belated)....
So I'm back and it's really getting cloudy outside so no walk today unless I walk later tonight when I get home.

I will work on weights tonight during commercials.
Ruth I thought of you when I was watching Idol and worked on weights.

My gift from my boss was a good one. She bought me 3 exercise bands from the gym...they are the good ones for all 3 levels so I will keep them here and work on them.

Maybe I should start on doing sit-ups like Connie!!...during commercials

Crunches during commercials instead of crunching on chips during commercials.......we should start a campaign.

I'm thinking of trying a balance ball like Connie does..

I have a balance ball but it's too big for me.
I constantly falling off the dang thing and I hurt my back
I did do a few "All Ball Classes" at the gym, it wasn't my favorite workout class but it was a good workout.

I had a boss in the IT Dept that had a "ball chair" she never used it though. It was a ball inside a chair with arms, just no back to it, you sat on it and worked your inner core all day long. I used it once and that was enough for me! LOL

Not as much as usual but found time to go for a 2 mile walk with my neighbor at 5pm. Plan to go to the gym tomorrow after work.
