Hi!
Happy Wednesday!!

I'm posting this early because I've got a very early appointment Weds morning and won't have time to log on.  I'm having a mole cut out from my upper back so I'm not planning on doing much after I get home.  It's a minor procedure but I've got a lot of healing going on and the swelling has gotten bad again....big fat ankles again so I really think I just need to rest with legs up

What are you doing today to get your heart pumping and joints loosened???
Have a great day!

Morning Ruth...elevate those legs...you'll feel better.

Yesterday was our pool aerobics...such fun !

Today I'll ride my stationary bike at home..here in NY its cold again, just like winter.  So I'll just ride inside.  Monday I rode 4 miles..today I'm going to try for 5 if my knees can handle it.

Keep smiling...

Ruth,
I live outside the small town of Owego...ever heard of the coolest town in America?  It was in the news...I live near there.  We live 1/2 way between Ithaca, NY and Binghamton, NY...in the country.

Where does your family live in NY?

If you're close we'll have to meet !!!  Annette lives in Ithaca...

   WOW small world..

Today it will be walking durning lunch/break time, 3 miles for sure...maybe walk some at home later today with my doggies.

Keep those legs elevated and rest my workout buddy.

After getting really bummed out and sad yesterday (because of swelling) I decided I just have to stop working out and no more 3 hour shopping sprees.

Normally after every surgery (tummy tuck, butt lift, arms, boobs,) I waited at least 6 weeks before I started walking (I'm taking about on a treadmill or outside....I of course walk around the house, cooking, cleaning, bathroom trips, etc). And by the way I've never had a big problem with swelling.
So why in the world after LEGsurgery did I think it was ok to start walking at week 3????? Ithink I'm causing my own bad swelling by doing too much.

I see my surgeon next week (Mon) and will ask his thoughts on my theory but till then that's my theory and I'm sticking to it.

Thanks for always being supportive!!

I tried an exercise ball about 2 years ago......I couldn't get comfortable on it.  Maybe I should give it a try again since I am so much smaller now....

Do you find it helps?  I wanted to do push ups on one since I struggle with doing "real" push-ups.
