GOOOOD Morning....Its Saturday...YIPPEE !!!!
Wow, I get to post on two threads. Wonderful, I am always chatty!
I love coffee. The one thing I missed before and after surgery. I can't live without it. Still don't do anything carbonated.
Ohhhh.. sorry about the tornado warnings. We just have cool temps and rain. I guess that will stop my walking today. Bummer.
Everyone have a great day
Peace
I am on my way. What a ride it has been.

also; have been shopping online for agarden shed-decided to splurge and go big 10X14 and get it delivered...so! once it is assembled; i think it can help comquer SOME of our issues here--i feel like trailer trash with all of the junk around our place---and stuff still in mom's barn etc....
laundry awaits!! whooooooooooooo hoooooooooo!!!!!
would rather go to the thrift stores!
I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Okay, I slept in ...thought I heard distant rumblings of thunder so I rolled over and went back to sleep..I've had a sleep deficit all week so now I had a chance to catch up.
The traffic down our quiet road is suddenly really busy and, as we suspected, we are now a detour due to a bad accident on the main road. Derek was home briefly to pick up some tools for a job he is working on and told us that a car had T-boned a farm tractor at the top of our block...we know the family, and I'm heart-sick...apparently the car has been flat-bedded away and the tractor has a broken rear wheel ...I'm anxiously awaiting news, hoping everyone is okay. Derek says that the tractor weighs 7500 pounds so the damage to it wouldn't be bad, likely just some broken bolts on the wheel..I'm worried about people.
Today, I've got laundry going, soup cooking, roast roasting in the oven and I'm working on computer stuff. Mother sounds content so that makes me feel at ease. JB went out back and cut five pounds of asparagus that grows wild along our lane and across the stream on both sides...yummy! I will steam that for dinner. I also made reservations for all of us for dinner on Sunday at The Keg Steakhouse to celebrate our birthdays and our 40th wedding anniversary...it's hard to get everyone all at the same time. I already know that I'll be ordering the salmon...I just cannot digest steak anymore...beef is just too dense for my pouch except in the "ground" form.
My lilac bushes are about to bloom soon and will cut a bouquet for Mother. But it's also TICK season again...it's gotten really bad here the last few years..always got to check the body after being outside...and we have already found ticks in Zeus's ear(our 175 pound rottie) and in some of the cats' ears too.
I'm planning my garden...still too early here to start ...we might still get snow.
Well back to work creating flyers and a new business card and doing some research again.
Have an awesome weekend!

Hey Tonya...long time no see..
How is your recoverydoing? I did find some protein powder, at GNC. But, they don't carry it at the mall, so I had to order online. They did tell me if I don't like it to return it.
I'm having problems with my eating again. Old problem, just no new tricks yet. I'm trying to refrain from dairy..not working real well..but I have cut out alot.
So today I made chicken salad, and I'm vacuuming my house, then I'm going to try a Mexican style quiche. I'll use some chorizo, refried beans, salsa, maybe some brocolli, tomotoes , mushrooms, onions and some cottage cheese with the eggs. Should last me all week.
I've been driving to Ithaca every Tues and Thursday evenings for a water aerobics class...oh my What FUN!!! I love it...now when I feel stress I want to go to the pool.
Well good to hear from you...Hope you and your family are doing well.
