Good Day!!
I just got back from taking a morning walk.  I walked double what I did last Thursday and walked faster.  It was truly glorious.  I wanted to do another 10 mins but I know I still have to build up slowly.  I'll add another 10 mins tomorrow.  I took Buddy with me this morning (he loved it too) and for some reason he was real rambunctious....he normally walks nice and calm.........today he kept trying to get up on peoples lawns and was sniffing EVERYTHING....he was pulling and tugging the whole time.  My left armpit is feeling it now.  I'll do some weight lifting tonight...nothing too heavy.....Buddy already worked out my arms....LOL!

What are you doing today?

I walk outside until it gets way too cold and then I go to an indoor track.Sometimes I even just go and walk early at the Mall if it is rainy or something.

Hi Moosie:

Did an hour of strength training this morning with 5-lb. dumbells and ankle weights.  Will not get a chance to do cardio this evening as I am expected to be clear across town (about 30 miles) at 7 p.m for my niece's wedding rehearsal and then on to a late dinner.

Will do cardio first thing tomorrow morning.  Probably Richard Simmons Boogie Down the Pounds (1 hour).

Hope you have a blessed day.

I was just thinking of getting some ankle weights....are they uncomfortable??  How many lbs do you put on your ankles?

I started with 1 lb ankle weights and moved up to 5 lbs.  They are made of a very soft material with no hard edges, so they are really comfortable.  You can also use them on your wrist when you walk or do arm exercises.

Just got back from the gym.  I took a naproxen this morning and it really helped my sore foot. I get something comparable to a neuroma. I've had shots before but didn't really want to do that. So far so good . Won't make a habit of the  anti inflamatory but it sure helps. Now I'm hungry! Dinner calls. I'm just right on the verge of breaking one of those 10 lb marks. that would make a 10 lb drop since January. Sure feels good to be going in the right direction again even tho it's ever so slow. I know I'm building muscles as well as losing  a bit. Hope you all had a good one. Back to nice weather here again today.
