Kind of dreary here in Michigan today.  Hubby is really antsy today and wants me to do something, anything, except be on the computer.  So Just thought I'd check in and read a couple of posts.
Hope everyone is successful in their endeavors today.

Today I'm just trying to finalize travel plans.  Trying to coordinate appointments with my Dr and Dentist, former co-workers, accountant, friends and of course spending the weekend with family.  It's not easy to figure out how to meet up with everyone......I'm thinking I'll tell everyone I'll be at this hotel between these hours if you want to see me please stop by....no I'm not serious but it is tempting.

I'm trying to get tickets to the Dr. Oz show.....called today but they are only doing May 11-13, I need them later in the month so I'll try again next week.

The big question looming is to fly or take the train.  Gotta make a decision by Friday before the prices go up again.

Going shopping this afternoon....hope to find a couple pair of linen pants and a bunch of 3/4 sleeve tops (have to keep my new arm scars covered).

Later in the week we'll be replacing a few citrus trees that did not survive the harsh winter we had and I'll be planting the tomatoes, peppers, cucs, and may try some zucchini..not sure if it is too hot here for the zucc.

Hope all are having a nice day!

Zucc love the hot and sun....they dont do well in rainy cloudy weather.  last year it rained here or was cloudy all summer long and our Zucc did nothing.

Life is good!  I had a second interview for the job on Monday and it went well.  Not sure if I have a chance, but I'm glad I went through the process.  I'm trying to be philosophical, even though I would be disappointed!

Work is good - busy, which I like as long as it's realistic!  I'm feeling pretty good, other than spring allergies.  Clothes are going well - I can wear lots of different things now.

Michael is doing great - losing weight, feeling good.  We are both trying to support each other in the WLS eating!  I go for my 6 month check up next week, even though it's more like 7 months almost!

Hope everyone is doing as good as they can!

I'm down 120 pounds - thanks to RNY!  Working on the next 25.  Then I'll tackle more...

I just finished reading everyone's posts for today.  I love coming here and sharing your lives.  You all feel like family and I've never met any of you, lol.  Today I took off work.  I just didn't feel like I could deal with it and felt guilty all day because I'm behind in my paperwork again due to a change in our software program at work.  The new one is awesome but full of bugs.  We are one of the test facilities for it.  My Aunt Toni passed away in her sleep early yesterday evening.  I've dealt with death and dying every day for years but when it's your own it's different.  I'm just grateful that she went peacefully.  She was 92 and had a really full life.  We are burying her in Houston, TX with her husband on Saturday so we will be driving down on Friday.  I only knew two of mom's sisters growing up.  She was one of 10 children.  Turns out there is a whole slew of cousins around Nachadoches, TX that I've never met.  It has been really interesting chatting with them all.  I am looking forward to meeting some of them this weekend.  I just woke up from a long nap.  I don't usually do that but I guess I needed it.  All that talk about swimsuits, I wish you could see me in one if you want a big laugh.  My skin above my knees sags.  It looks horrible when I have a swim suit on.  Then of course there's the extra stomach skin...  Oh well, I'm just so glad that I have my life back I can deal with it.  Oh, did I mention my bat wings on my arms?  I tried alternating walking and jogging the other day and it was hilarious.  As I was jogging along feeling really proud of myself I could hear my extra arm skin flapping as I ran.  I bet I look a sight, lol.  It felt good though.
