I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

yesterday was great at work-learned new "stuff" and revisited some i am great at! good feeling! today i am still training and tomorrow i start at "my" branch....feelin good!

need to do laundry! my "banking" wardrobe is overdressed for this community....and my step down" stuff is limited......

michael is still working on the beds for strawberries and raspberries  and blackberries- so he is digging this hole- my god it's big enough to hide a submarine! i came in to start dinner and change into my nitegown...heard this tiny voice calling my name---no,karen;he didn't fall.....but the "cart" attached to the riding lawnmower had fallen into the hole , wedging him in under the load of sand he had just filled it with! ok--i see the cart half in the hole but don't see michael.....mad dash up the hill-nitegown flowing, and toes in the sand-a feeling i actually enjoy!...so----we righted the cart and he got dug out....the side wall of sand had collapsed majorly......all is well tho...

slept a bit better last nite--really puzzling why so many of us are having sleep troubles!

hugs and prayers............

Good morning Margo and everyone.....

Margo.... I am glad Michael is okay after the sand incident.

I know some of you follow my grandson Nic's Caring Bridge Site so you may already know this but I will share with others....
Nic at 16 has now passed his CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) testing. He missed only 1 point...the medical people testing him said they never had anyone with such a high score. I am so PROUD of him I could burst. Considering how many times we almost lost him to his cancer this is a great blessing!!!  He was so excited he sent me a text as soon as he found out the results!!  WTG NIC!!!!!

I best get back to work....have a good day everyone.

Prayers to so many in need.

Love and hugs to all.....connie d

Woo Hoo Nic!  Way to go!  Nursing Assistants have really hard jobs and they deserve all the credit they get for the care they give their patients!

You have every reason to be proud

Some people might not support my WLS decision.
Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.
